Author's Note: Another part to this oneshot. Scar quickly finds out what happened with the invention. Cub's okay though. He'll just be sleeping for a little while.

Scar:
I continued to hold up the force field as I typed into the wall next to me. The vents opened up quickly and sucked the toxic air up like a vacuum cleaner. It took merely two minutes for the air to become healthy again. My arms burned had already started to burn as I lowered the field around me and Cub.
Cub's tail twitched as he slept soundly on the ground. I kneeled down and scooped the sleeping hybrid up. Cub twitched as he growled quietly. I carried him to the corner and dropped a bed down from my inventory. I laid Cub down causing him to snuggle into the pillow.
" Oh Cubfan... You are a man with too much ambition sometimes..." I whispered as I covered him with a blanket. I smiled gently at him as Jellie meowed and appeared out of thin air. I grinned at her, " Oh hello my Jellie girl. It's good to see you this afternoon." I smiled as Jellie hopped up onto the bed. She laid down next to Cub and purred as she drifted off to sleep against the hybrid's beard.
I wanted to watch the two sleep cozily together, but a sharp cry burst through my ear drums like a balloon suddenly popping. I turned my head and looked down towards what was crying and trying to cling onto me.
A small, fuzzy hybrid with a long, black hoodie covering her. I leaned down and scooped the hybrid up causing the thing to continue to cry although softer than before. I frowned as I looked at the other, now younger, hermits.
Each hermit started to awake, and they each started to cry. I didn't really know how to react. How could I react? The machine malfunctioned and accidently forced my friends into younger, more frail versions of themselves.
The only one that wasn't crying was the younger Tango. He stood up as his long, sleek tail twitched, " ...Scar?" he looked up at me with a small frown. Tango's voice was higher than before causing him to visibly look uncomfortable.
Tango took his jacket off and pushed his sleeves up, " Cub's, and your, machine broke...." he mumbled as he walked over to the heavily breathing Impulse. Tango sat down and wrapped his tail around Impulse's waist. Impulse looked at him and coughed out redstone dust. It was mainly due to Tango's comfort that Impulse had calmed down.
" Do you two have any id-ow-ow-ow! Mi-Mighty no that's my e-OW!" I pulled away as Mighty started to bite at my ear. I pulled Mighty back causing the hybrid to hiss and bark at me. The hybrid shifted into an incredibly fluffy wolftiger pup. I put Mighty down causing the hybrid to whine and try to climb up my leg again.
Tango's horns weakly lit up causing a red glow to go around Mighty. The hybrid flailed and howled as she was brought next to Tango's side. Once Mighty was put back on the ground, Tango let out a small gasp as he let Mighty go. The toddler hybrid shifted back into a slightly human form despite still having wolftiger legs and fur around her throat and sticking out of her hood's sleeves.
I let out a sigh as Impulse and Tango looked up at me. Tango put his small arm around Mighty causing the hybrid to purr. I gingerly rubbed my ear as I kneeled down next to the three, " Do you two have any idea on how old you two are?" I finally questioned with a frown.
The two children looked at each other, " I.... I think I'm nine or ten...?" Tango mumbled unconfidently. Impulse shrugged his shoulder, " I dunno... Probably eight....?" he rubbed his arms and soon moved his arms to hug at Tango's tail for comfort.
I looked over at Mighty as the hybrid got out of Tango's arm and waddled away. The hybrid's tail dragged on the ground tiredly as she sniffled. Mighty managed to get to a shaking Rendog; his eyes were slightly bloodshot.
" Mighty...? " Ren mumbled as his ears perked up. Mighty laid down next to Ren and purred softly. I walked over to the two, " Ren, Do you know how old you are?" I questioned in a calm voice as Ren looked up at me. Ren hugged his tail as he shuffled awkwardly in his oversized shirt, " I... maybe... six?" his ears lowered as Mighty continued to purr.
Ren moved to hold onto Mighty and nuzzle the pup. I decided to leave the two alone as another loud cry hit me. My body shook. I hope X and the other get here soon. I don't know how much crying I can take.
I walked over to the little Grian. The little Architech was being hugged by a closed eyed Joe. The two's eyes were puffy and red from crying. Joe still seemed to be crying based on the way he dug himself into Grian.
Grian looked up at me as I stopped close to him. He curled away and kept his arms around Joe. I frowned, " I'm not here to hurt either of you..." I whispered as I sat down nearby. Grian's eyes opened slightly to reveal heavily bloodshot ones. He breathed heavily as he continued to shake.
The two small children continued to shy away from me until they went underneath a table. I frowned. There wasn't a point in trying to coax them out. They either are too scared to recognize me or act exactly like the age they've been forced into.
The best that I can do is wait for X, Tin, Doc, and Mumbo while trying to get everyone comfortable.
