*Lauren*

Lauren had come home during her break to spend time with her Abuela. And with her last weekend in New York approaching, she felt the sudden urge to spend it at Saturn. Saturn is one of the best Latina bars in New York, and Lauren hadn't found a place that played better music.

I can't believe how fast this week flew by! Abuelita is in the kitchen preparing croquettas this morning and the whole house smells delicious!! - that's your usual Friday morning in the Jauregui household.

I sat down at the kitchen counter, watching Abuela work her magic and sudden found myself drifting off in thought...

*"You're quite the charmer, Lauren.."*

The brown eyed girl at the park.

She was so beautiful. I found myself thinking about her way more often than I should be. And that scared me. It's only been 4 months since Lucy and I broke things off but things were going downhill for a while with her. I didn't know that it would only take a couple months for me to fall for someone new. Let alone, someone I literally spoke to for a second.

I've been back to the park a couple times since Saturday, making sure I walk the same path I did that day just so I could catch a glimpse of her. But she wasn't there. She was never there. Maybe it was a dream? Maybe my imagination created this girl? .. either way, my heart wishes I could see her again.

It was time to eat and suddenly my appetite was gone. I excuse myself and asked Abuelita to keep some croquettas in the oven for me. I get up from the kitchen counter and walk up the stairs towards my room. I decide that I need to get out for a while. I pull on some black jeans and my 1975 T-shirt and slip out the front door.

It's so good to have Dinah back home. When she's around, it feels like everything might just be okay. I picked her up at the station an hour ago and we came back to my place to catch up on Riverdale.

D: I'll grab the popcorn, you grab the soda!!

C: I've got it..

They both settle down next to each other on the sofa.

D: What episode are you on at the moment? I haven't had time to catch up, what with all the uni work I've had to do.

C: I'm only on episode 3. You know I get distracted really quickly so I didn't make it very far.

D: Okay! Perfect! Let's do this!

*Camila pushes play

D: So did you decide what you want to do tonight? I was thinking we could go to this karaoke bar up the road? They've got really good reviews online?

C: Oh, Papi's Corner? Yeah that place is always really busy. I haven't actually been there before?

D: Then that's where we'll go! You better be ready to have the best night ever!!

*Lauren*

It was extremely hot out, and Lauren decided to pick up a few things before she leaves on Sunday. She walked into a couple stores, picking up a few random toiletries that she needed, a pair of sunglasses and a Guns and Roses T-shirt.

On her way home, she came across a small antique store and decided to pop in and have a look. She stepped through the door and it instantly smelt of damp wood and mint. The floors were made from old wood and creeked with every step you took. The store was empty- only an old man who sat behind the counter reading a newspaper.

Can I help you ma'am? he, asked without looking up.

L: Uh.. no, thank you. I'm just having a look around.

Anything in specific that caught your eye?

Just as he asked the question, Lauren noticed a bracelet in the glass counter and she stepped up to the casing to have a better look at it. It was an old piece of jewelry, she could tell, but something about it was so classically beautiful. It was a thin brassy colored band made from tiny brass links all leading up to a round pendant with a green stone in it. Lauren bent down and took a closer look at it through the glass and then she saw it; in the center of the stone was a moon in the shape of a crescent and it was outlined in a very dark gold.

L: How much for this one?

Why, you have very good taste ma'am. This is one of our rarest pieces. And luckily for you, we're closing down soon. The wife and I can't afford the rent, so everything's going for 75% off!

L: Must be my lucky day then, huh? I'll take it.
