(Eye)Bright Future

It was barely mid-afternoon, and the sun was out and certainly heating up the city. She was glad that Kookie had been so precocious and convinced her to have a pool party. It was the perfect day to relax in the water. She decided on light foods, like thin steaks to grill and lots of summer vegetables, with fruit and a few bottles of sweet and dry wines. She wasn't really used to throwing parties or meetings like this, so she wasn't sure exactly what she was supposed to do.

 Loaded up with food and beverages, she took a taxi back to the building so she wouldn't have to carry the heavy haul all the way back. The cab driver helped her lug it to the elevator, and she had to bring it into the apartment in two trips. She marinated the meat, and was just finishing making a huge salad when she heard a knock on the door. She rushed over to answer it, and was a bit overwhelmed as she invited the guys in and they all piled through the door into her space.

"Whoa, Noona, this place is amazing!" exclaimed Taehyung as they all looked around, "Very top-end!"

"Thank you," Dez blushed, "I can't take all of the credit, though. Joon picked out most of the furniture. I just approved it. I'm absolutely in love with coffee table," she bent to run her hand over the large natural wood slab that looked like it was cut from a slice of whole tree, "The bench and night stands in my room are by the same designer."

"We know," Jimin laughed. It sounded melodic and Dez's eyes went wide when she heard it, "We have a lot of their stuff in our house as well. Joon is a big fan."

"Wait," Dez's head snapped up, "You all live together?"

"We do, sometimes unfortunately so," Yoongi smiled, "It saves money and we've kind of been inseparable since before we moved here to the States."

"That must be a lot of...action," she breathed out, dizzying at the thought of so many people in one house, "Doesn't it get loud? Or messy?"

Seokjin laughed, "You have no idea! But we love it and we manage well."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Dez was feeling more comfortable around them as she got used to their individual personalities. She felt as though there were aspects of each of them that paired well with her own, and she was excited to get to know them better and work with them as her main team.

"Okay, so," she offered, "Do we want to eat first or swim first?"

"I'm not much for horsing around in water," Yoongi offered, "So I could cook while everyone swims, maybe?"

Dez agreed, showing him where the food and utensils were before helping him carry everything out to the grill. She heard the guys laughing and yelling and splashing in the pool as she walked through the apartment to her room to change and join them.

Since she really hadn't planned on swimming with seven gorgeous men all at once in her pool, Dez was a little nervous about her swimsuit options. Well, one option, really, which was a dark red tankini top with matching bottoms that tied on the sides. It only showed an inch or so of her stomach, but her thighs and a lot of her butt was on display, as well as a fair amount of cleavage. 

Dez had never been self-conscious of her curves, and she wasn't even now, but she didn't want anyone to be uncomfortable with her showing too much skin. She grabbed a large black t-shirt to bring along, figuring that she could claim she was getting too much sun and put it on if it got awkward. Carrying that and a large stack of fluffy towels, she walked back up to the roof and took in the sight.

Yoongi was comfortably controlling the grill, while the rest of the group was playing chicken in the pool. Dez had to stop herself from drooling, as she took in the toned bodies all around her rooftop. It's as if they were all made in a factory somewhere, that produced only perfect male bodies with flawless skin and varying degrees of defined muscles. Namjoon and Seokjin were broad and tan with remarkable back muscles and long legs, while Yoongi, Jimin, and Hoseok were smaller in frame but with lanky defined muscles covering their bodies. Jimin's thighs resting on top of Joon's shoulders was a sight to behold all on its own, but a real sight came when Jeongguk and Taehyung noticed her and popped out of the pool to come help her with the towels she was holding in front of her.
