To the World (Pt. 1)

Dez sat in the center of the long table, four of her lovers sitting on each side of her, all on one side as they faced the crowd of flashing lights and reporters. Despite the sips of water she had taken from the glass in front of her, her mouth was dry, her teeth sticking to her lips when she tried to move her mouth.

She looked down the line to her right, at half of her lovers, looking fresh from their salon trip yesterday, their hair colored and their suits pressed and clean. Yoongi, next to her, with his light mint hair, black turtleneck and red blazer, giving him his air of authority while still making him look less intimidating. Jimin, hair dyed orange to accentuate his charming nature, black shirt and tailored black suit to make him appear more mature and dapper. Da-Won, hair curled sweetly and dress cute and innocent, her natural girlishness on display. Jin, regal and elegant, peach-pink hair adding to his handsome features and softening his already bright personality.

To her left, Namjoon sat straight and professional, dusky purple hair parted and brushed back from his forehead, his crisp suit and tie making him look like a proper politician or ambassador, ready for any question no matter how difficult. Jeongguk, fluffy black-brown hair ghosting his cheekbones, his dark patterned shirt and black trousers making him look mature beyond his years, even as his doe-eyes showed how nervous he was. Hobi's russet hair matched his suit, smiling brightly to individual reporters in the crowd, letting his sunny personality win over their hearts. Elegant Taehyung, his shaggy hair had grown into a fashionable mullet, which he had bleached to a the palest blonde the day before, his grey suit giving him an aura of mystery.

Dez met eyes with each of them, not caring about the cameras as they smiled warmly to each other and held hands, crossed ankles, or touched thighs under the table in assurance. As the initial noise from the reporters died down, Namjoon leaned slightly forward into his microphone to speak.

"Thank you for coming here, to listen to us today. I am sure you have a lot of questions, and we will have time soon to answer them. While there are rumors regarding the nature of the relationship between Ms. Swanson and various members of the Executive Team here at Eyebright, we believe that our introductions will spread light on the truth." He cleared his throat, covering up the nerves as his hand shook in Dez's under the table, "I will begin the introductions now. My name is Kim Namjoon, Head of Logistics and Strategy at EyeBright Botanicals and Personal Secretary to CEO Swanson. I am in a committed romantic relationship with Desaree Swanson."

The crowd erupted in questions and comments, gasps and cheers alike heard throughout. Namjoon held his hand up to quiet them. "Please hold your questions until the end, and keep your reactions to a minimum, we have a lot of people here on this panel, and each of us will be going through our personal introduction before we go any further to answer your questions." He turned and smiled at Dez, squeezing her hand before looking over at Yoongi.

Yoongi gripped his microphone with confidence. He leaned forward, his soft, smooth voice forcing the murmur of the reporters to stop. "My name is Min Yoongi, Head of Security and personal bodyguard to CEO Swanson. I am in a committed romantic relationship with Desaree Swanson, and with Park Jimin. I am also in a casual relationship with Jung Da-Won and Jung Hoseok." He leaned back, ignoring the gasps of the crowd, smiling coolly over to Jimin as Namjoon held his hand up to quiet everyone once again.

"My name is Park Jimin," his voice was clear and sweet, his smile dazzling as he addressed the audience, "I am Head of Public Relations and Marketing at Eyebright, and I am in a committed relationship with Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, and Jung Da-Won. I am in a casual relationship with Jeon Jeongguk and Kim Taehyung. As for Desaree Swanson," his smile kicked up a thousand watts as he turned to look at her, "I am hopelessly and ridiculously in love with her. Our marriage isn't official by law or contract, but I am proud to call her my wife and plan to hold her preciously in my life for as long as I live."
