Dez woke up to a dozen resignation emails and two investor pull-outs. It wasn't nearly as bad as she thought it would be, but they also hadn't held their press conference admitting to all of the rumors, either. There was bound to be more backlash, and Dez only hoped the company could survive it.

"Think quieter," Hobi grinned, pinching her nose and making her smile, "It's all a wash, at this point." He snuggled her into him as she sat on his lap, Namjoon and Yoongi being especially attentive in feeding her breakfast. "We want the company to be solid because of what we can do for others through it."

"And that's admirable," Namjoon agreed, "But, if it doesn't, we have the ability to get new jobs and enough money between us to pay off the house and survive for a while until we get them."

"I already have potential places lined up for Wonnie, Kook, and Jimin," Jin added, "They won't have the title and freedom that they have at EyeBright, of course, but they pay well and are with a good company."

The information made Dez feel a little better, but she still worried about the company and the employees within it that would be put out if it went under. Not to mention Da-Won's own company and the employees there. Dez suddenly felt overwhelmed once again.

"This is about more than us," she said glumly, "It's about so much more."

"It is," Yoongi agreed quietly, "But we might not have the luxury of thinking about more than how we make through this. Don't think we're taking this lightly, Angel. We just have to focus on the bare minimum for right now, and that means how we get through everything together. How we survive the hardest of times, staying together."

"I know," Dez admitted, "I know no one is being selfish. I just...I need a minute..."

She got up quickly, rushing to her room before anyone else saw the tears break free and run down her cheeks. Closing the door as quietly as she could, Dez sunk to her knees, holding her face in her hands as she sobbed silently. If only she didn't start EyeBright, if only she had stayed in her kitchen, making simple fucking soap for simple fucking stores. No dreams, no greed. This was all her fault.

But, then she never would have met the boys. She never would have fallen in love with them, with Da-Won. She wouldn't have her fun-loving Kookie, or her caring Yoongi. Not her tender-hearted Hobi, or her romantic Jimin. She wouldn't be able to see the world through eyes of Taehyung, or feel the world the way Jin did. She wouldn't have met Namjoon, who protected and loved her through everything, and who taught her how to love the rest of them as much as she loved him.

Which is what got them all there in the first place, really. Loving her, and loving each other. If she hadn't met them they wouldn't be in trouble right now. They would be living their lives, blissfully unaware of her existence, and not stressing over her and her company or her feelings. Full circle. This was all her fault.

"Don't leave us, Noona. Don't even think about it."

Dez looked up from her hands, resting on her knees as she cried, to find Jeongguk kneeling before her with tears in his eyes as well. He picked her up off the floor, sitting and wrapping her legs around his waist to face him.

"I can hear it," he cupped his hands around her face, making her look him in the eye, "In the way you're crying. It won't fix this." He brushed her hair back from her face, his eyes begging her to understand him, "It won't fix anything if you leave now. We don't regret this. I don't regret this. It won't fix it for me." He held her close, kissing her face desperately, "Don't leave us, Noona. I love you. Don't leave me."

She hugged his head to her chest as they both cried, "You don't regret me now, Babyboy...but what if we lose everything? What about when your parents hate me for ruining your life? For stealing your opportunities? Won't you hate me then, if you lose everything important to you?"

"Goddamnit, Desaree! Don't you understand?" he yelled into her chest, still sobbing, "If I have you, I've lost nothing!" He fisted his hands into her hair, pulling her head back and kissing hre throat between words, "I love you...I love you so much...Stay with me...Don't leave us...Stay...Please stay..."

His kisses became frantic, his hands pulling at her hysterically, her reaction to him equaling his own. They needed the comfort of one another, they needed to feel each other, to express their love no matter how explosively.

"I'll stay," Dez kissed him passionately, "I'm here, Kookie...I love you."

Their lips met in a spark of fire, sloppy and crazy and fierce. Dez pulled his shirt off hastily, taking her own off immediately after. She pressed her body against him, needing to feel his solid form and the distraction he offered. His body replied in turn, desperately seeing her own to make its other half complete.

Dez's pyjama pants were gone before she knew they had been removed, and she was on her back before she properly registered the motion. Jeongguk laid over her, his entire body against her own, as he filled her abruptly. He lifted her again, rising up on his knees as she wrapped her legs around him. He bounced her hard, thrusting up as he pulled her down, their highs rising fast and hot. Their kiss was so deep their teeth clacked together occasionally with his hard thrusts, her moans heavy as her mind found solace in the melding of their flesh. He was greedy and possessive, while she clung to him like a lifeline cast to her in a storming sea, his professions of love reminding her of a day on the beach in Nassau not so many months earlier.

"I need you, Desaree," he moaned into her neck, his pace growing faster and more wild, "I love you...every day...don't go...ah I l-love you..."

A shattering climax broke through her, the sting of a thousand pieces of glass stinging her nerves as she came. Tears continued to roll down their cheeks, even as Jeongguk stilled inside her and released in a strained groan, their bodies shaking as they shared the bliss that connected their bodies and hearts. Dez pressed her forehead to his as they calmed down, unwilling to pull away from each other for even a second.

"We have to go to work," Kookie said quietly, "I promise I won't leave your side."

"Okay."

He chuckled, "You get all that bullshit out of your head?"

"Not entirely, but I will. I love you, Kookie."

"I know what'll help. Go get into the shower. I'll be there in a minute and your mood will improve even more."

"What are you bringing me to improve my mood, then?"

Jeongguk smirked, "Jimin and Tae, of course."
