Life's A Beach (Pt. 3 & 4)

Namjoon knocked briefly before coming in carefully through the bathroom door. Since there were fewer bathrooms in the beach house, they all kind of had to share when getting around at the same time. Dez looked up at him as she did the finishing touches of her makeup and checked to make sure she looked presentable for another fancy dinner they had planned. Joon took advantage of his height and took a spot behind her to straighten his tie and fix his hair above her reflection. "You look beautiful," he said in a quiet voice, "Here, this should go with your dress," he reached into the inner pocket of his suit and pulled out a long, thin box.

Placing it on the counter, he opened it and took the silver chain. He brought his hands in front of her, dropping the chain to pinch the ends between his thumbs and fingers, revealing a small heart-shaped pendent. Half was pink diamond like her rings, half was yellow topaz like Jimin's earring she wore. A small, pale-blue opal sat the bottom point of the heart, giving the look that the heart was being held together by it.

"I'm not going to ask you to marry me," he said with a smile, "Yet." He placed the necklace on her throat, fastening it behind as he met her eyes in the mirror. "But I do want you to have a token of my love. I am enamoured by you, Dez," his eyes shone brightly, "And I want you to be reminded of my love, even when I'm not around. I might take a little longer to get to the wedding thing, but I do want you to know how much I love you."

"I love you, too, Namjoon," she smiled back at his reflection, "And I appreciate you wanting to wait until it feels right."

"You feel right," he replied, kissing her neck softly, "Don't ever doubt that." He grinned slyly, using a long leg to kick the door closed beside them. "You feel very right. I love you very much," he slid his hands up her sides as he pressed himself against her backside, making her her core pulse with the motion. He placed his head next to hers so she could look at them both in the mirror, "Plus, we look good together."
