To the World (Pt. 2)

"Ms. Swanson, since when have you had a relationship with these people?"

Dez sipped her water, "I became friends with them as soon as they began working for the company, before we officially launched. We began dating somewhere between one and two months later."

"Why all of them? Was one not enough to keep you happy?"

"Any one of them could keep me happy for a million lifetimes," Dez smiled, "But I was given the honor of loving each of them individually and as a group, and I'm not planning to give up on any of them as long as they want me."

"Was your relationship with Ms. Jung the reason for the MejiBright collaboration?"

"No," Da-Won answered directly, "We became friends through Desaree's relationship with my brother, and decided to collaborate then. Later, I began a relationship with Seokjin, and my relationship with Desaree developed after that."

"Doesn't it bother any of you that your partner is sharing her or himself with others?"

There are conflicts, from time to time," Namjoon answered immediately, "Especially with the busy schedules we keep with running EyeBright, but we communicate and make up lost time when we can. No issue is one that can't be worked out with patience and communication."

"So, Mr. Kim, you're never jealous?"

"I sometimes crave attention from Desaree when she is unable to give it to me," he admitted, "But when you practice compersion and think about the happiness of your partner and how that happiness will be shared with you when there is time, it makes waiting worthwhile."

"I have to admit, I wouldn't be able to stand knowing my wife is with another man. How do you do it?"

"We refuse possessiveness," Taehyung's voice was calm and clear, "My partners are their own people. They are not things that I own, they are beings with their own needs and wants. So long as I am able to be a part of those needs and wants, I am content to be so. I am honestly more possessive over my car than I am my partners," he chuckled, "THAT, I own."

"Are you saying you love your car more than your partners?"

Tae squinted his eyes, "I'm saying that love and possessiveness are two different different things. I am possessive about my car. It's a really cool car," he smirked, "But I do not love it. I love my partners, to depths in which I don't have words. I do not possess them.

"Can you honestly say that what you have is truly love?"

Jimin dazzled the room with his smile once again, "I absolutely do. I would kill to die for my partners. Do you know what means?" His eyes brimmed with tears as he looked at Dez, Yoongi, Hobi, and Da-Won in turn, "I would fight my way across a burning battlefield, putting my own life on the line, to be the one who took the head of someone who dared harm them. I would do anything to see them happy, and give all of myself to be one of the people to bring a smile to their faces. Everyone defines love in their own way, but my hearts knows that I love them. It knows."

"Ms. Swanson, did you abuse your authority over these men to contrive a relationship like this with them?"

Yoongi glared at the reporter, "I will answer your question," he stated in a low voice, "But I will also ask that you respect her when you speak to her." Relaxing himself by will, he went on. "The nature of our relationship was not a proposition or even a quick decision made by Desaree or any of us. We knew how we felt individually, and spoke about it amongst each other. Once we came to an understanding, we asked her to give us a chance to prove it could work. For nearly two years, it has worked. Better than we even imagined in the beginning."

"What are your plans for the future?"

"Just...this," Jin smiled at the group, "Our wish is to continue running our company, bringing our best to the world. We want to continue our private lives in private, loving each other completely, building lives together, having children...everything you wish for in your future."

"Do you really think it's healthy to bring children into this kind of lifestyle?"

"Of course!" Hobi's voice was louder than it needed to be, proof that he was excited at the prospect of children in his future, "How would it be any different from multi-family households that exist now, other than filled with more love and effort from everyone living under one roof? Da-Won and I grew up with our aunt, uncle, and cousins living with us and our family. We all pitched in, shared time and resources with each other, and helped when and where we could. I don't see how a child calling many people Mom or Dad makes a life any less happy for them."

"Are you open to more relationships, outside of your group as it exists now?"

"Yes and no," Dez couldn't hold back a chuckle, "As for me, I am content with my life as it exists at the moment. However, I respect the needs and decision of my partners, and if they should find themselves with feelings for another person or persons, then I would give the freedom, love, and respect they have given me and each other. I am not closed to the idea of what may come in the future, but I can't imagine I will ever find people more amazing than the ones I share my life with now."

""We are open to the hypothetical idea, and the discussions surrounding the idea," Namjoon smiled, "But we are not actively seeking new prospects at this time."

"No one has heard from you, yet, Mr. Jeon. What do you have to say?"

"I don't really have much to say," Jeongguk giggled nervously, "My hyungs are better at explaining things than I am. I can only say that I am really really happy."

"So am I," chimed Jimin.

"As am I," Tae smiled at Dez.

The rest of the panel chirused that they, too, were happy, each of them smiling to the others and sharing looks of love and adoration. Cameras captured the moment. The group felt satisfied with their answers, and wanted nothing more than to get to their library and cuddle into a heap while they finally relaxed and waited for the results of them honoring their truth.

Come what may, they would face it together.

A/N: So I honestly had a hard time coming up with questions, since I have created these characters and nothing they do is a surprise to me, I guess. 

But then I got to thinking.

Q AND A TIME! 
I'd like to take this time to open up questions that the characters can answer. I'll leave it up for a while, and update the following chapter as more questions come up. I've never done this before, but I think it will be fun, and help everyone understand and interact with the characters on a closer level. As per the usual M.O., drop your questions below and I'll answer them when I set up the next chapter.
