New Beginnings

"TEN!"

It had been ten weeks since the Big Confession, as they liked to call it. EyeBright lost five investors total, and two more employees, but gained three investors including Saundra. It was a wash in the end, and the company was healthy as ever.

"NINE!"

Nine talk shows had called to have the group on for interviews, guest spots, and even to cover as an entire panel for their own "The View" type show. Jimin was going over offers, seeing which ones benefited the company best without adding too much to their already-busy schedule.

"EIGHT!"

In eight weeks, Dez would be marrying Jin and Da-Won. They would be legally married, but she couldn't have been happier with the arrangement. Jin's parents would be satisfied, even though they knew the actual set up, and Dez would be promising herself to two more people that she couldn't imagine living without. Taehyung had designed the suit and dresses, and they would get to have their winter wedding with a summer honeymoon on the New Zealand countryside.

"SEVEN!"

Seven pairs of eyes watched Dez as she danced with Da-Won. They twirled each other around, trading off who was leading, and laughed so hard their heads tipped back on their shoulders. That was the best part of coming clean to the world: No more hiding. No more pretending that she didn't love every single one of them with every piece of her heart, and no more denying any of her love to any of them, regardless of where they were. The boys watched them dance together, a smile on each of their faces as they saw the love sparkle between them.

"SIX!"

Six million dollars. That was the amount in new sales contracts they had accrued in the past ten weeks, thanks in no small part ot Saundra and Nellie. They practically became walking advertising for the company, never missing a chance to tell another rich friend or acquaintance about how prolific and cutting edge Eyebright had been in such a short amount of time. Any chance to brag at how profitable their investment had been with the company. Hoseok was practically inundated with offers, and even had to hire two new lawyers to help go over prospective contracts...one of who he was starting to take a liking to.

"FIVE!"

Eyebright Spectrum, the unisex and non-binary cosmetics line, would be launching in just five days. The campaign that included photoshoots of the plethora of models, ranging widely on the range of gender identification, was Taehyung's opus. Jimin and Yoongi were so excited to be a part of normalizing makeup for masculine-presenting people, they practically fought Tae to be a part of the campaign. Much of the video and commercial portion was of the two of them as they were working as makeup artist for the other models, their smiles clear and evident at all times.

"FOUR!"

Four more pills left in Dez's birth control pack.

She wouldn't be refilling it.

"THREE!"

Eyebright was in the process of purchasing a third building. With stores and businesses selling their products and clothing across the United States, it made economical and ecological sense to open another production location on the east coast. It would save on costs for clients and the company alike, and lessen their carbon footprint by allowing for shipping to come from a closer location. One more would likely be set up in Texas by the end of the next year.

"TWO!"

Dez found herself twirled into the arms of a strikingly handsome man. He looked into her eyes, pouring love and adoration from from him into her. Her breath caught in her throat as she admired his beauty, his kindness, his warmth, his heart, and every sexy feature in his very being. She knew that her love for him was whole and complete, and she had no doubts of his love for her. He walked her to the small gazebo in the center of the ballroom, through the crowd.
