Day 2 10:00 am

Remy looked around the forest. It was her and Sarah's first time seeing it by day. She was glad she got out of there before she got lost when she decided to go earlier by herself when it was still dark. The trees were so tall, Sarah and Remy could barely see the sky. "Ate, mukhang matutyugi tayo ng maaga dito," Remy admitted. "Heh. 'Wag ka nga ganyan, Remy. Walang matutyugi sating dalawa," Sarah said as she held onto Remy's wrist. "Eh can't you see?? The trees are sky high! Ate, pano natin yan aakyatin kung andyan man yung bukong sagot sa uhaw natin pareho?" Remy asked innocently which made Sarah laugh. Sarah held onto her ribs. "Bata ka, sumasakit lalo katawan ko sayo eh," Sarah said as she laughed again which made Remy laugh, too. "Eh ate, ba't ka natatawa eh seryoso naman talaga ako eh," Remy said. "Baka may stream or kung ano man dyan na pwede nating inuman," Sarah said as she rubbed her aching sides. "Man, I wish I paid attention dun sa mga never ending vids na pinapanood ko of those village people who build pools with their bare hands. Napapanood mo yun, ate? Ay never mind, busy busy ka nga pala. Sorry naman," Remy said which made Sarah throw a leaf at her as she laughed. "'Wag mo sabi akong pinapatawa eh," Sarah warned as she continued to laugh. She wrinkled her nose as the throbbing pain intensified. "Huy ate," Remy said. "Okay ka lang?" She asked. "Kumikirot eh," Sarah answered as she took a deep breath. "Alin? Yung injuries mo o yung puso mo?" Remy asked half-jokingly. Sarah shook her head while she smiled. The pain got stronger this time. "Remy, kelangan ko ata umupo," Sarah said. Remy's eyebrows met. "Ate," she said seriously as she helped Sarah sit on a log. "Kumikirot ng todo eh. Bigyan mo lang ako ng ilang minutes. Try ko ulit tumayo maya maya," she said. "Ate, that's fine. Take your time, please. Dito ka lang saglit. Mag-titingin tingin lang ako dito sa malapit," Remy said. "Huy, at talagang iiwan moko dito? Pano na pag may bumungad na kung anong animal dyan tapos kainin ako?" Sarah teased. Although, she kind of meant what she said. "Ate, dito lang ako, promise. Dito sa tabi tabi lang. We need to get food in you. We need to get water in you lalo. Ang payat payat mo na nga eh, injured ka pa," Remy said as she panicked. "Huy," Sarah said when she noticed Remy having a hard time breathing. "Remy," she said. Sarah held onto her sides as she stood up. "Huy, hinga," she said as Remy started having a panic attack. Remy turned her back against Sarah. She felt embarrassed to be having an episode right in front of her idol. "Huy, it's okay. Magiging okay din ang lahat," Sarah said as she rubbed Remy's back, but she stopped when Remy arched her back in pain. "Hala," Sarah said worriedly. "Remy, kumalma ka lang, please naman oh. Natatakot nako sayo nyan eh," Sarah said nervously. Remy obediently tried to stop herself from panicking. "Umupo ka dito," Sarah said as she signalled down on the log. Remy sat down just as she was told. Sarah winced in pain as she knelt in front of Remy. She held her face and made her look at her. "Remy, okay lang ako. Okay? Sabi ko naman sayo diba mag-tutulongan tayo? 'Wag moko masyado isipin. Lalo nag-papanic attack ka pala oh. Kelangan mo i-conserve yung energy mo, please lang Remy," Sarah begged worriedly. Then she stood up. The day hasn't even started yet, and she's already exhausted. Her body was in so much pain, she could barely walk. "Patingin ako ng likod mo," Sarah said to Remy after she finally got herself up. "'Wag na ate. Kung ano man meron dun, yun na yun," Remy said when she was finally able to calm herself down. "Remy, pano natin gagamotin yan kung ayaw mo ipakita?" Sarah scolded. "Ate, wala naman tayong gamot eh," Remy argued back. "Eh baka pwede natin tapalan ng kung anong plants dito na pwede natin gamitin na parang herbal medicine. Makikita ko din naman yang likod mo if ever kasi ako naman yung mag-lalagay ng gamot pag nakahanap tayo ng pwede gamitin eh. Sige na. Para makita natin ano injury meron dyan sa likod mo," Sarah insisted, but Remy whined. "Ate, 'wag na kasi eh. Hayaan na natin," Remy said, too shy to show Sarah her back. "Ano nangyari sa promise natin sa isa't isa na sasabihin natin tuwing may nararamdaman tayo?" Sarah reminded her. "Did I promise anything?" Remy tried to remember. "Ay naku. Fine, edi hindi promise. Akala ko lang nag-kaintindihan na tayo na mag-sasabi tayo sa isa't isa tungkol sa mga pain pain na yan pero hindi pa pala," Sarah said, disappointed. "Ate, you already know that I'm in pain. You already know that there's also pain in my back. So ano dun ang lumalabag sa kasundoan natin?" Remy asked. "Eh ayaw mo kasi pakita sakin eh, pano natin malalaman extent ng injuries mo sa likod mo?" Sarah said. "Fine. We're wasting time. Dapat may iniinom ka na by now. So for time's sake tingnan mo na yung likod ko. Geez. Pero you have to show your back too, para patas," Remy said. "Wala namang pain sa likod ko!" Sarah argued. "Ate, just to make sure din. Ikaw na nag-sabi na pano natin malalaman kung may kelangan gamotin satin kung di ipapakita. Then let me see if your back is okay too para patas lang," Remy argued back. "Naman Remy eh," Sarah whined this time. "Ate, I'm not showing you my back if you don't show yours. Mamaya may bruises ka rin na kelangan gamotin, ako din naman mag-gagamot if ever na gaya nga ng sabi mo, makahanap tayo ng pwede igamot dyan," Remy said. Sarah shook her head. "Obvious naman kasi na may injury ka din sa likod dahil sa reaction mo nung hinimas ko likod mo, kaya kelangan natin makita yung extent ng injuries mo para alam natin ano kelangan natin gamotin. Eh ako wala naman ako nararamdaman sa likod ko so di na natin kelangan pa tingnan yung sakin," Sarah argued again. "You know what, we're wasting time arguing. Nahihiya ka ipakita yung likod mo? Pwes, nahihiya din ako ipakita yung likod ko. So para patas, 'wag na natin i-check pareho," Remy said. Then she walked away.
