After breakfast, Sarah went by the bushes to go to the bathroom. Afterwards, she found Remy close to the shore, writing something on the wet sand using a wooden stick. "Remy," Sarah called out to her. Remy looked up from what she was doing. "Anong ginagawa mo?" Sarah asked. "Just figuring out how many days we've been stuck here ate, and what date it is already. I believe, if my calculations are right, that today is a special day," Remy said with a smile. "Special day?" Sarah asked. "Hala, birthday mo?" She asked again. Remy giggled. "Hindi," she answered. "Teka," Sarah said then she thought hard. "Ay, Valentine's day," Sarah finally figured it out. Then her eyes softened. She gave Remy the warmest and sweetest smile. "Happy Valentine's day, Remy," she said. Then she went over to hug her as tight as she possibly could without hurting her. "Happy Valentine's day, ate. Love you," Remy replied. She closed her eyes as Sarah pulled her into a tight embrace. "Love you too, Remy," Sarah said softly. After they let go, Sarah took a deep breath. She stared at the ocean. "Siguro ang daming sweet na plano sana ni Matt para sayo noh, ate? This could have been a very special and memorable day for the both of you," Remy said as she sat on the sand. Sarah looked at her. Then she sat next to her. "Pwede pa rin naman maging special at memorable tong araw na toh diba, Remy?" She asked with a smile. Remy shook her head. Sarah's smile disappeared. "To me, it already is," Remy said. Then she gave Sarah a smile. Sarah's smile re-appeared. "Naks naman," she answered. "Totoo naman eh. Sayo siguro hindi kasi kita mo naman, bantot natin pareho tapos stuck tayo sa island habang parehas tayong injured. Anong ka-romantic romantic at special dun? Pero sakin kasi, special ka eh. Sobra. Kaya being here with you, kahit yung ganito, cheesy na kung cheesy, OA na kung OA, pero wala eh. Sobrang special na sakin ng ganito. Who else can say na on Valentine's day, na-solo nila yung not only their ultimate idol but also their girl crush? Saya kaya sa puso. Napaka-blessed ko, napaka-privileged. Nakaka-taba ng puso ng sobra sobra. Okay na okay na sakin yung ganito," Remy explained. A smile never left her face the whole time she was explaining which made Sarah smile, too. Everything Remy just said touched her heart. "Bakit sino ba kasi may sabi sayo na hindi ka rin special sakin? Eh mahigit isang linggo pa lang tayo nag-kakasama parang lumevel up ka ng lumevel up sakin ah," Sarah teased. Remy bit her lip, then she looked away. "Ayan na, ayan na, kikiligin na sya," Sarah teased her even more. Remy blushed. "Tsk, toh eh, lumalabas pagka-mestisa ko sayo oh, nag-iinit face ko," Remy said shyly which made Sarah's eyes disappear as she laughed. "Ikaw talaga, Remy. Ilang araw na tayong mag-kasama dito, kinikilig ka pa rin sakin. Hindi ka na nag-sawa ah," Sarah said, still smiling. Remy shook her head. "Sawa? That word doesn't exist when it comes to you ate," she replied. Sarah smiled even more. "Talaga?" She teased her again. "Oo, talagang talaga. Never akong mag-sasawa sayo noh. Kung pwede nga lang forever na tayo dito pero syempre yung may resort naman tayong matitirahan na pwede tayo maka-ligo at kain ng kung ano-anong pagkain, hindi yung ganito na injured tayo tapos limited pa yung pagkain," Remy explained. Sarah took a deep breath. She smiled as she looked at the ocean. "Sarap nga noh kung ganun? Yung tahimik lang tayong namumuhay dito sa islang toh na parehas tayo comfortable," Sarah said. "Pero syempre invite na natin yung family mo at family ni Matt, dito na kayong lahat. Amponin nyo na lang ako," Remy added. "Ay, sabi mo yan ha. Pag ikaw hindi ka nagpa-ampon sakin pag na-rescue na tayo, ewan ko na lang Remy," Sarah jokingly threatened. "Ano ka, dream come true kaya yun. Ikaw ang baka hindi na magparamdam sakin pag na-rescue na tayo," Remy said while she pouted. "Ayan nanaman tayo eh," Sarah said. "Hindi nga ganun yun. Kung gusto mo pagka-rescue satin sabihin natin posasan tayong dalawa para hindi na tayo magkahiwalay eh," Sarah reassured her. Remy looked at her. Then she let out a little snicker. "Bakit ka natawa?" Sarah asked. Remy shook her head. "I don't know, ate. It still doesn't feel real to me na I'm stuck here with you. Miracle na nga na na-survive ko yung plane crash. Well, maybe not. Matagal naman talaga mamatay ang masamang damo--" Remy was saying when Sarah cut her off. "Ayan ka nanaman eh. Hindi ka masamang damo, ano ba?" Sarah said. "Eh basta. Anyway, miracle na nga na naka-survive tayo pareho sa impact ng plane crash na yun. Miracle na napadpad tayo sa islang toh. At lalo namang miracle na ang popstar royalty ang kasama ko. Grabehan ang tadhana. And to think na napaka-fan mo pa ako. Ay naku, napaka-surreal," Remy said. Sarah smiled. "Ang dami nga nating na-experience na himala sa sampung araw na andito tayo ano, Remy? Ang bait din talaga ng Diyos," she replied. The two of them stayed sitting on the sand as they watched the waves roll close to their toes. Sarah smiled when a bit of the ocean touched her feet. Remy wiggled hers as she giggled. The two of them sat smiling, enjoying the simple things the island has to offer.
