Chapter 22: Luhan Got Sick

Chapter 22

"What do you mean Luhan?" I asked as I faced him.

"Don't act like you care for me, don't act like you are affected when I'm sick, stop being so pathetic Yin, I'm sick of these." He uttered.

"Luhan, it's not what you think Luhan, I am not acting... It's all true."

He scoffed and said, "Right, when you said you loved me 3 years ago you were not lying and pretend that you never did right? You were honest I say... Just stop being so good to everyone because I know you were pretending. They are not here so stop it, please." He coughed again and I stopped.

"Luhan... Have you not forgiven me yet?"

"I'm afraid to Yin, I'm sorry." He said and coughed so hard.

In short, he still hates me.

But...

Even if he hates me, I can't let him suffer so I prepared some towel with ice on it.

"What are---"

"Stay still, this can help low down your fever." I told him as I sit next to him. Fortunately, he stayed still and let me put some cold water on his forehead.

We were silent for awhile, none of us wants to go to the practice room nor break the ice.

He fell asleep and after I finished the so called 'water therapy' I noticed that his has no longer fever.

He was just sleeping and I don't want to wake him up. I stared on his angelic face and felt pain when I remembered what he told me just awhile ago.

"Don't act like you care for me, don't act like you are affected when I'm sick, stop being so pathetic Yin, I'm sick of these."

"I'm sorry Luhan. I should have told you the truth before, maybe, you would understand why I broke up with you. Believe me, I did loved you, so much but I can't afford seeing you suffer just because of our relationship or just because I love you... I don't want to be selfish." I whispered.

"Then you should have not broke up with me... We were perfect before." He suddenly spoke and looked straight to my eyes.

"You don't understand... its pretty difficult, seeing you debate just for our love. I chose your happiness over my love." I said as tears were running through my cheeks.

He suddenly put his hand on my cheeks and and his fingers wiped my tears away just like before.

"Then you made me suffered. Don't you know how difficult it is for me when I am famous and all but I don't get to be with you? When I see many guys looking at you but I can't protect you because... You were no longer mine? How every minute I wished that you'll be back but get hurt everytime I realize you lied."

"But why can't I hate you? Even if you killed my heart a couple of times... I still can't hate you. I hate you so much because I can't hate you."

He seriously stated.

"I'm sorry." Was the only phrase I could whisper.

"Do you still love me?"

"What?"

"I'm asking if you still do love me. Yes or no."

I was left dumb founded.

"I just don't know."

"Hey Luhan! We have been waiting for you! Don't you know you still have to tape with your new ad and mv in EXO 902014 today." Our manager said as he was surprisingly outside the door.

"But he has a fever, can't he be on leave first?" I uttered but Mr. Hyun, our 2nd manager shook his head.

"This is no time for leave Yin. Luhan is a star! He can't be sick. The schedules have been already set, you can't just say you have a fever... I'm sorry but you have to work Luhan."

But how could they be so inconsiderate??? Luhan is sick, he can't work.

"I'm fine Yin... I'll follow next." And the manager left.

"But you are not Luhan, you are sick, can't you see it's because of stress? You need to rest."

He showed my a pale weak smile before he stated, "We all are used to this." And he left.

Sorry so much if I have been haitus for a long while and have been writing really short chapters... I would really understand if you find this story boring but I'm really, really busy as in right now. I don't know what to do... huhuhu mianhae...
