Chapter 36
Yin’s POV
“Where really are your parents Yin? Are you hiding something from us?” Kyungsoo suddenly asked.
I don’t know what to say, should I say to him. I glanced at Tao, he is the only member, except for Kris and Luhan who knows about my situation.
“Her parents are busy. Can’t you get it? There are some things Yin could not just explain to you.” Tao stressed out as if he was really pissed.
“Why are you getting pissed Tao. Kyungsoo is just asking.” Baekhyun said.
“I’m not getting pissed. I just don’t like people who likes bringing the past.” Tao said.
“Please… stop. I don’t want to talk about my parents neither I want you to fight. Please, don’t ask me about my parents again and please don’t fight about me.” I said standing up.
“I’m sorry.” Kyungsoo said.
“I’m sorry too.” Tao conceded.
I just smiled and stated. “Let’s drink some coffee and eat the cookies should we?” I said and they did.
After our breakfast, Kyungsoo and Baekhyun decided to go to the market with our 3 managers (Which are by the way living in a neaby place, they said they can’t sleep with our noise. -.-)
Some members decided to sleep for we will have our super tiring practice later.
Kai and Lay are already warming up in dancing.
I was busy arranging my things in my room when I noticed that Tao was standing alone in his veranda. I decided to approach him.
“Hey. Thanks for saving me earlier but really, you don’t have to fight for it.” I said.
“Why do hide it anyway?”
“I don’t want people to know my weaknesses. If they will learn that my Mom is sick and my Dad is dead, they will be sorry for me. I don’t want that to happen. I hate being pitied.”
“But they are not just ‘people’, they are EXO members, your next family.”
I stopped. He’s right.
“You’re right. Maybe I’ll tell them when I am ready.”
He glanced at me then back to the picture he was holding a while ago.
I peeped on what it was. It is a picture of a young girl and a young boy and behind them was a huge snowman. The young boy looks familiar.
“It was so fun back then. We were here for a vacation. Her smile was so priceless… I miss Li XuiHuan… I miss her.” He said.
So it was him on the picture and the girl beside him was his first love. Poor Tao.
“I’m sorry.” Was all I could say.
“No… It’s okay. But do you know what’s more weird?” he said.
“Weird?”
“I saw her on the airport, right before we leave. I saw her, she was as old as me, and she was wearing a lady’s dress… but I know it was her. She smiled at me… but then she vanished.” He sigh.
“I wish it was true, I wish it was not only an illusion. I hope I could see her again.” But then he smiled and took the picture back to his wallet. “But I know it’s impossible… and when she returns, I may not love her that way.”
“Why?” I asked.
“I already like someone else.” He glanced at me with his eyes telling me something I don’t understand.
“But yeah, that someone doesn’t feel the same.”
I sigh and tapped his back.
“I know you love him but don’t worry, you will find someone better. It’s okay, gwaenchana.”
“Wait… HIM?” his eyes widened.
“Yeah, we all know you like Kris but sadly he left us, oh by the way I saw him at the park the other day and he said he will see us when he is free from taping. Don’t worry Tao, I know Kris is in good hands now. He is still single so you still have a chance! Don’t lose hope! Fighting! I love TaoRis!” I cheered and he just covered his face while shaking his head.
He is smiling… I mean laughing… hard.
“You’re an idiot.” He said as he scattered my hair with his large hand.
I pouted while telling him, “But you smiled because of an idiot right?”
“Yeah. I like that idiot.” He smiled as he ran inside the room. Wait, he likes me? Nah, maybe my imagination.
Later that day, we practiced a lot. I know, behind the fame of EXO is the darkest part of hardships any fan could never hinder… but with their shouts and supports, I know, our passion is more than enough to become anyone’s inspiration.
We finished around 10 PM and we were tired as hell. After a late dinner, I decided to take a shower and to dress on my comfort dress. I was about to sleep when I noticed Kyungsoo was soundly sleeping beside me.
“Goodnight Kyung, I’m sorry that I can’t answer your question… it’s just that I don’t want to talk about it though. I’ll tell you when the right time comes, I promise. But for now, thank you for understanding.” And I decided to rest.
