Chapter 1

2 Years Later......

Taissa Pov- Had it been really two years already. I stare out the windshield waiting on Avril and Mallory.

It was the kids last day of school finally the bell rings signaling schools out and the kids come running and screaming in the midsts of the crowd comes running an eager and excited Mallory, her blonde pigtails bouncing along with her.

Her front missing teeth grin was growing on me. Gosh she was cute, she comes running toward the car and bounds for the front door. "Easy there kiddo." I say.

"So how was your last day of the dreaded second grade." I say touching one of her pigtails. "It was a blast you know Mr. Tops wasn't so bad afterall weird, but not bad." "Good." I say kissing the top of her forhead.

I look up waiting for Avril. Finally she appears with two girls on either side of her smiling and laughing. She slumbers over to the car and opens the back door waving off her friends and slouches into the backseat and crosses her arms. "Hey kiddo, how was your last day of fourth grade?" She rolls her eyes and stares back at me into the mirror. "Stupid" She says.

"Okay then." I put the jeep into drive and pull out of the school. I turn and head down the road toward the middle school to pick up liam. "What happened Avril?" I say looking into the mirror. "Nothing just don't worry about it okay?" I frown. I keep driving until I put on my turn signal and turn into the middle school.

Liam walks toward the car and opens the door. "Hi, Mrs. Peters" his three friends say. I wave back. "Hey boys don't be strangers this summer come over and visit liam." "Absolutely! Yes mam." I smirk and drive off. "Mom they think you are hot." liam says distigusted. "Oh they do not." I say scoffing. "Do too." he replies. I pull into the driveway and turn off the engine.

The kids get out and I walk in after them. Evan stands in the foyer with his duffel bag by his feet he must have just got back from directing his new movie. "Daddy!" Mallory Chants Evan scoops her up and kisses her cheek. She wraps her arms around his neck.

"No more filming for awhile okay?" She says sternly "okay pumpkin." Evan says. He sets her down and then Avril is next she gives him a quick hug and storms toward the stairs her long brown hair streaming behind her. Evan looks at me and I just shrug. Liam embraces his dad and then runs off.

Then its my turn I walk over to him and pull him into a hug. "God I missed you." I say with whimper. Evan looks at me before replying "I missed you too Tai." My eyes begin to water. "Please stay home now Evan please, for me." I say hugging him tighter. He kisses the top of my head before leaning in and giving me a longing kiss. I return it and close my eyes taking in the intimate moment.
