Taissa's Pov- I go pick the kids up from school and drop them off at the house. "Liam, remember to keep the doors locked don't answer for anybody stay in the house make sure your sisters do their homework your father and I will be home in a bit." I kiss the top of his head amd send him on his way.
Liam's Pov- After watching mom leave the driveway I help my sisters settle and get them their snacks and I pick up my bookbag. I knew mom and dad wouldn't be back for while since they were filming a movie together.
I am about "out of the woods" so to speak as I go back downstairs to leave to go to the mall. I am about to take a step down on the first step when I hear a voice speak up from behind me. "Just where do you think you are going?" Avril speaks up with her hands on hips. "Out." "You know what mom and dad said when they are gone." she said. "So?" "So?, you can't be like that leaving and stuff." she says removing her hands leaving her hips and crossing of the arms instead.
"Where are you going?." I turn away from her and roll my eyes. "Liam, I am not as stupid as look you do least much of work as anybody let alone pick up a book and study." she says gesturing to my bookbag.
"Look I will cover for you anytime you need it so why can't you cover for me.?" "Liam-." " Please Avril just this once lie and tell them Frank, Carl, And I are studying for a test in Earth and Environmental Science." she rolls her eyes. "Fine just this once." I walk over and hug her. "Thanks Sis." I say before heading downstairs.
She looks over the banister with a crease between her brows. I grab my bike from outside and head down the street. I look around making sure no one sees me leaving. I continue pedaling and eventually reach the mall. I pull my bike off to the side and sling my bag over my shoulder. I look around before entering the mall. I set down at the food court after a while waiting before ordering a burger and fries.
I wait a while only starting to panic when I finish my meal and none of the guys have arrived. I then finally get a call from Carl he tells me Frank got caught sneeking out and he currently was in car waiting on his mom and that he nor Carl would be coming to the Mall.
I hang up and start to stand when a blonde walks up to me. "Need a ride kid?" "Nah thanks ,I don't take rides from strangers." She smirks "Mommy taught you well didn't she.?" She says mockingly. "And Dad." I say. I get up and start walking. "Hey Kid!?, You didn't give me a name." "No, I didn't." I say continuing to walk.
She follows me out to the exit. I am about to grab my bike when she sets a hand on me. "My name is Emma." She sticks a hand out to me. I look at it. "Sorry I followed you through a mall but you looked so familiar." I nod my head before laughing it off. "Maybe you got me mixed up with someone else." I go to hop on and leave when she stops me again.
"You didn't give me a name a proper gentleman always gives a lady his name." She says. "Liam...liam Peters that is." I say sticking my hand out. She shakes it. She looks at me with pure shock. "I knew you looked familiar."
"Come sit over here and let's talk." She gesters over to a bench. I look reluctantly. "Oh come on I don't bite, besides it will only be a few minutes." She says.
I nod my head and go sit by her side before she takes a pack of smokes out and lights one and exhales. "Just like your father." She smirks before taking a puff. "What?" "Your looks and antics but your laugh is all mama." "You know them." "Knew them." She said blowing out another cloud of smoke.
"Before you arrived and a little afterwards." I looked at her before looking off. "You know your mother and father did break up at once right?" I shook my head. "They never talk about the past before us you know." I say. She takes another drag. "Let's just say you and all your siblings were a mistake." She says.
