Liam's Pov- Walking into the house brought so many memories. When everyone was in living room watching a movie. I went into the foyer and sat down and slowly sipped my beer. When one memory flashed before my eyes.

Laughter from children erupted down the stairs. Cinnamon and sugar cookie with Pine  filled the air. "Liaaaam, wait for me." A young boy runs down the stairs in a sweater in Jeans. Following him was a little girl with long chocolate wavy locks with a red bow in a red dress with white stockings and sparkly red flats chases after him. A little babe with blonde curls in a green bow with green dress and green flats stands at the top of the stairs with a thumb in her mouth watching her siblings in curiosity. The boy comes back with a sled and young Avril follows suit. They reach the top of the stairs. Liam gets on first, then Avril is behind. Then little Mallory sits in Liam's lap. "Ready?." Liam asks his sisters. Avril nods and hangs on tight. Mallory looks back at them and grins. Liam pushes off his hands and they're off. Bounding fast down the stairs. "Guys What's going on?." I see mom a lot younger with a dish towel and she is shocked with the scene before her. Luckily she dodges out of the way. As the sled comes flying down the staircase. Dad much younger has opened the door for our guests and there we go sliding out the door and take our grandparents out with it. "Ahhhhhhhhhh!" We yell. We finally crashed in a snowy ditch and we look back at everyone who stands at the doorway no anger just laughter.

I watch the event play out in front of me. I wish I could be that age again sometimes life was easy. That's when I got an idea. I go and grab that old sled along with my sisters. "You cannot be serious right Liam? I mean we were kids." Avril says with her hands on her hips. Mallory looks between us and frowns "You guys cannot we just have fun and let loose and forget about being adults for just a little while.?" She asks.

There we stood at the top of the stairs Mallory sits in front, then me, and then Avril just like them old days. "Ready?." I ask them. Before my eyes I seen two little girls looking at me once again. I pushed off with my hands and off we go. "What on earth is going on here.?" Mom says. Her eyes widen. "Kids?." She didn't have time to process. "Evan!!! open the door." Dad comes around the corner. He comes around the corner "Taissa What's-?...Oh...oh my!." He runs to the door as we bound out flying off the front porch. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" We yell out in unison. We all tumbling off of it and flipping and landing on our backs laughing. We all look at each other. "Gosh, I missed that." Avril says. Mallory nods laughing and even I find myself laughing. "When you guys get done out there come up here." Dad calls out.

We were dreading the lecture we could get. But as soon as we were all up there our parents pulled us into a hug. "We are so glad you are all home for Christmas." Mom says. "To see you reenacting that made us feel like we were back in time again. Thank You guys we needed that." Dad says. For a moment when we were hugging. I seen not all grown ups mere a young husband with blonde curls and a wife young long blonde locks there hugging them was a little boy with dark sandy blonde curls, a little girl with long chocolate waves, and a little tot with blonde straight thin hair. I close my eyes and hang on tight. Had I known that would have been the last Christmas together I would have held on a little tighter.
