Liam's pov-  "Dr. Peters." I hear my nurse Charity coming down the hall and hands me a clipboard."84 year old male his name is louis Dangerfield and his grand daughter is with him today he was scheduled for an EKG and here are the results he requested for you specifically." She says.

I take the clipboard "Thanks, but I don't I have had a Louis Dangerfield before I Usually remember my paitents by heart." I say. Chuckling "Get it by heart." Charity rolls her eyes and giggles.

"I think you need a vacation Dr. Peters." She says "Well when you finally take that honeymoon of yours with your husband I will take my vaycay." I say signing something from another nurse. I slide my pen back in my labcoat.

"It's not that easy when I still have to pay for nurisng school debt from student loans." She says. "Tell me about it." I say. I walk down the hall. I knock on the door before entering the room and once I do I am beyond suprised. I open the door and see an older gray headed man and much older Roseallie staring at me after all these years. "Dr. Peters you come in such high demand I thought you wouldn't be able to see me." The old man says. "No sir I try to meet all requests. Your name?." I ask him. "Louis Dangerfield, I am 84." I check my paperwork.

"Yes it matches up." I sit down. "But I am afraid I will not be able to see you today due to the fact I did date your granddaughter once in college so it is seen as conflict of interest." I say.

"Oh...well Rose I guess I will have to see another doctor." He says turning toward her. I nod my head. "I am going to find another one to take this from here." I walk out and down the hallway. I am headed down another hall when I hear a click clack of heels behind me.

Before I feel a hand grab at me. I turn and see Roseallie with her arms crossed as we stand by a bathroom area. "What the hell was that you can't see my grandfather so what if we have history he deserves the best possible care." I look around before responding making sure no one was listening in.  "Look Roseallie it's called conflict of interest it's complicated you see-." I couldn't even finish my sentence before she spoke up.

"Is it that or you cannot handle seeing me after all these years grown up and moved on?." She says. "Roseallie, People change okay shit happens and things tend to get messy. But really it is a conflict of interest." I say. I turn to walk and she grabs my hand looks over. "No ring on the finger huh.?" She asks. "No, truthfully I haven't had time." I say. Fumbling with my clipboard. "Must be nice to use scapegoat." She turns and walks off. I run my hand down my face and sigh she still has an effect on me.

I hear a knock on my door at around 6 that evening and go to it. There after all these years she stands before me once more with a bottle of wine in hand. "Look I acted like an ass earlier  and I just figured I could come by and make it up." I sigh and stand there.

"Yeah Roseallie you did act like so, but I won't turn down good company." I say. She comes on in and she looks to me. "Excuse the paint stains on my jeans preschool teacher life." She says. I smile a little and then lock eyes with her. "You still look even on the messy days." I say. Without thinking twice I took a strand of her red hair and wrapped it around her finger. She bites her lip and leans into kiss me. "You don't look to bad yourself doc." She says. I didn't know where this would lead, but I knew it was start of something good.
