Liam's Pov- The summer sun was setting slowly on Maine as Dad and I were working on one of the jeeps. Dad wiped the sweat off his forhead and threw the rag down. "Well I don't know about you, but I sure would like to have a glass of your mama's sweet tea." I nod and smile. "Want some?." Dad offers. "Yeah, I will be there in a bit just me a few minutes." I say. Dad nods and starts walking toward the house.
I stare up into the sky squinting when my eyes come in contact with the sun. Being home for six months is doing me some good plus helping my folks made my heart feel good.
I didn't always appreciate the summer months, but I have learned to with time passing. The summer ment home bound. No college. It ment I,Avril, and Mallory would all be home. But as time kept ticking. It became less of me, then Avril, Mallory for almost 3 summers came home to herself until this summer. I was almost out of train of thought when my foot touched the bottom of the first step on the porch.
"It...It would mean the world to me-." I hear a light voice say one I haven't heard in ages. I turn and see Avril stading on the walkway in purple dress and heels. Her hair had shined in the setting sun. Her dark eyes focused on me.
She was calm and relaxed. Far from the last time we spoke which was when I overdosed. I calmly turn around. "What took you so long?." I say crossing my arms.
She looked to the left of her toward the ground before tucking a piece of hair behind her light brown hair. "Look liam I-." "Save it Avril!, I almost died and you were more worried about a fucking proposal. Then come back and pretend nothing happened." Her eyes begin to water.
As the little cream colored envelope in her hands was being bended. "You know what liam I'm sorry okay, I'm sorry. I am your sister and I suppose to be there, but I wasn't instead I was out celebrating a new chapter that is fixing to happen in my life. I'm sorry I don't know what else or how else am I suppose to prove to you? and I the Fassbender's are family now so deal with it.." She stood there with her hand on her hip.
"You know what?, fuck it!." She walks up to me and hands me the envelope before kissing my cheek and walking down the walk way in tears. I tear the cream colored envelope now covered in oil and grease stains due to me I open the flap and pull out the little piece of formal paper. It says.

I stare up from from the paper. Avril was walking closer to her car. I run up to her. "Avril wait!." She keeps walking. "I was stupid, So stupid to come home to Maine to see if you wanted to be apart of my wedding and I just don't-." I tug her arm and turn her around toward me.
"Will you listen!." I snap at her. She shuts up immediately. "I was dick okay Avril? I fucked up you was right. I was just in a bad place at the time. I want us to go back to what we were a time where we told each other everything and now look we are fighting and arguing. Can we just please set those things aside and be brother and sister again because I love you I couldn't imagine a life without you and I want to be at your wedding next May." I say. She looks off toward the sun and then nods before pulling me into a hug. "I love you liam." She says. "I love too Avril." She pulls away and wipes her face. She goes out to her car and opens it to get a box. "Where are you going I thought?-." I start to ask. "Nowhere silly I just went to get Mallory's present." We start walking toward the house things were turning up good in the sibling world of things.
