Reminiscence

Chapter 21

Avril's Pov- Three months passed and filming was coming to close. Today was the last day on set. We had to film the few shots of the film. Which included my character in the movie regaining her memory I come onto set with my Ice skates as we pretend to skate on Ice.

"I am so glad you could come." Kolin says. "Yeah I figured I would for all the times you have been there for me." I say. The fake snow starts falling. I look up and pretend to be amazed. "Oh isn't it beautiful." I say my eyes welling up. "My sister would have loved it." I state. "Wait what?." Kolin asks. "Oh my sister she died in a freak accident when we were young." I say. "It's coming back!." He says. "What's coming back?." I ask. "Tell me more." He says. "Well I had this dream last night a little while after that I had met boy in school that following winter after the accident but I seem to not remember, but he taught me ways to remember and then my dream flash foward and he and I had done some growing up. I started feeling things, butterflies. Then it hit me I think I was falling for him." I say my eyes welling up as I pull him closer. "That's not a dream Caroline, that was your memory it's coming back it's all coming back."

He leans in whispers. "By the way I feel the same about you. He leans in and kisses me hard and I kiss him back as fierce." We pull away and put our forheads against one another. "I love you." I say to him. "I love you too Caroline." It ends with the snow falling on us as he tucks a piece of hair back behind my ear.

"And Cut! that's a wrap." The director says. He pulls us aside. "Okay listen you guys your promoting will start in about 2 months from now.Your first preimere private screening is in a few weeks.

You will get a sheet of all the dates you need to be ready for. You will do a slient pop in at a theatre with a audience watching your film at at the end of the film you will stand up and introduce yourselves. Then the audience will be allowed to ask questions and all that sort of stuff and questions?." We shake our heads no and grab a sheet. We get handed tickets to our private screening to invite our close family. I was excited. Before we depart Kolin pulls me in for a kiss. "See you in three weeks babe." He says. He then slips a piece of paper into my jacket pocket. I smirk and walk off set.

"Gather around I have gifts for all of you." I say. I was back home with 4 tiny boxes individually wrapped. Mom and Dad sit with Mallory between them and liam to the left of dad. "Now you can't refund this gift because I really would appreciate your likeness for it." I hand them each a box.

They open and mom reads out once she opens. "You have all been cordially invited to a private screening of Caroline's Memory." Mom looks at the ticket. "Avril how are we?-" "Plane tickets have been payed for and hotel comes free of charge to families of the actors." I say. "You just have to fly out to California with me." I say. "Avril absolutely we will we love you and we are a family." Dad says and the rest of them nod in agreement.

We arrive to California at around 5 am two weeks later. We get to the hotel around 6:00 am. We crashed at around 6:30 from jet lag. At around 1 pm. We were up trying to find some lunch. We came up on a burger joint. At around 4 pm we head back to the hotel and we start getting ready.

Mom helps me pick out a simple dress. "This is what I wore to my big first preimere she pulls out a simple pink dress the one that she was in when dad was carrying her. One of the most popular pictures on google images of them. I look for a while before my eyes land on a royal blue dress. It was simple yet had sexy touch to it. I put it on and immediately fell in love.

I put on some blue heels. My mom french braids my hair and does my makeup. After she finishes she gasps in shock. "You look gorgeous Avril." She says her eyes welling up. "My baby is growing up." she says. She pulls me into a hug.
