Avril's pov- I wake up to a text from Mom and dad saying they were elated for us to home for Christmas. I wake up at around 8:30 and roll over.
We stayed for a week and half here at Michael's and Alicia's for Christmas. "Good morning sunshine." I hear Kolin. "Good morning handsome." I lean into kiss him and he rolls on top of me.
Before the door creaks open and three 3 little ginger heads run in Sasha, Sadie, and Saleen "Good Morning!." They all three yelled. Kolin and I pulled away and looked down in all smiles. We helped the three triplets up on the bed. "Heyy guys." I say. "How did you all sleep?." Kolin asks. "Good." They all replied. "Nana and Pawpaw are downstairs making breakfast and told us to get you sleeping beauty's up." Saleen said.
"Oh really?." I say. Looking to Kolin. 4 years ago I was blessed with these 3 beauties. We were both shocked at the news and I was last sibling in the family to have children. Mom and Dad thought we would never get pregnant and finally we did.
After we breakfast we head out our three dearest daughters were running to the car. We turn and hug Michael and Alicia. "Now you guys don't be strangers you guys are coming back January 3rd?." Alicia asked. "Yep until June 31st." I said. "Good we will have more time with our precious grandbabies." Michael says.
A few years ago we decided on having two places. One in the states that we stay from July to December and one in Lisbon from January to June. My parents at first didn't like the idea of me across an ocean, but they got over it and have started to accept the idea.
When we pull up to the house all I could see was younger versions of Mallory, liam, and myself running around and playing in the snow. As soon as we park the girls are out of the car and running up to the door. My parents come out and embrace them tightly. "Oh we missed you guys." Dad says.
