Reminiscence

Chapter 19

Avril's Pov-  Today was my first day of filming. I get up around 5 am and get up.

This also happens to be when liam and Mallory wakes up. I go over to walk across Mallory's room in the hall when she is crossing the hall coming to my room. We almost bump into one another and start giggling. We catch each other in mid-fall laughing like a bunch of straight up idiots.

We stop laughing and hug each other. I quickly let go of her and race passed her to the bathroom. I immediately lock the door. Mallory knocks on it. "Oh come on sis." she pleads. "I was born first." I call back to her. "It doesn't matter." She yells back. I pull my tie out of my hair and shake my head till my hair falls out of free and cascades down my back.

"I love you Mal." I say. "Yeah, yeah." She says. I turn of the water and get in and midway through my shower a louder knock is heard. "Come on Avril I am the oldest hurry up!." liam demands.

I start laughing and turn off the water. I hear her and liam chat on the other side. I brush my teeth and wrap a towel around me. I open the door and steam escapes out.Mallory and liam start arguing who goes next. I go to my room and shut my door and get dressed. I blow dry my hair and leave it down. I grab my purse.

As I shuffle down the stairs the smell of pancakes fills my nose. I bound the corner and into the kitchen where mom is talking to Dad and dishing out breakfast. Dad goes over and gets 5 glasses and starts pouring juices for everyone. I go over hug mom. "Good morning sweetie." She gives me a quick kiss on the cheek and a hug. Dad hugs me and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

I sit down at the table with breakfast and juice and begin eating. The first bite was delicious the syrup and butter on the pancake was just amazing. "You nervous?about your first day?." Mom asks. "Yes, overly nervous." Dad chuckles. "It's normal Avril I was my first time filming." Dad replies. "Especially when it came to the big projects like American Horror Story and X-men." Dad says.

He locks eyes with my mother and they both smirk and blush. Still effect each other after all these years. Mallory bounds into the kitchen and get's her plate and juice and sits down to eat. Liam comes in 15 minutes later. Another 15 mintues passes. When I stand up. "Time to go." I say.

Dad rises from his chair. Since my car was in the shop my mom and Dad and siblings would have to take turns picking me up. I give mom a kiss and hug and both liam and Mallory. Dad grabs his keys and wallet before following me.

Once we arrive to set I get out and hug and kiss dad goodbye and walk in. I shake tbe directors hand see Kolin and we begin to film. We start with the opening scene with me sneaking my sister out on a snowy morning to go horseback riding. The little girl actress and I got along great. We got on this horse in snow coats and mitts and boots.

We galloped around in front of a green screen pretending to be running on a snowy landscape. We then pretend to cross and icy bridge and the horse fake slips and the little girl actress acts like she is barely hanging onto the edge. I quickly turn to grab on. "I won't let you go I promise." I say tears hitting me immediately it was like in that moment it was Mallory in the little girls place.

"You have too or else you will go with down with me." She says. I shake my head as the tears hit me harder. "No!" "It's okay I love you." Her hands go slack and she let's go and falls onto the crash mat beneath her "And Cut!." The director calls out.

"Good job, lets do a few more takes." During my lunch and start walking to a nearby restaurant. I hear a car near and slow down. I look over to see Kolin cruise beside me and roll down his window.

"Hey come with me to lunch." I look off. "You sure?." "yeah." He says flashing his teeth. I hop in and he pulls off the curve. "Your acting was good today especially with the crying like on the spot like that you don't see that with actors often." His eyes flick to me and back to the road.

"I just imagine it was my sister and I and how if I was really in that situation how would I feel and what would I do." I say he nods. "I couldn't imagine losing louiza." He states. My eyebrows furrow. "Louiza?." "My little sister." I sigh of relief washes over me. "Who did you think louiza was?." I look at him and he knew what I thought then.

My mom waited for me in the car at around 3. I walk out from the studio and get in. "Hey baby how was your first big day?." She asks me. "Good."

"Hey Mrs. Peters." I hear Kolin. "Hey Kolin, how are you today?." "Good." He replies she nods and looks to me. "See you tomorrow Avril." Kolin says. "You too." I say. He looks at me. Mom smirks and pulls off. "Has he said those 3 special words?." She asks. "Not yet." I say. She grabs my hand and squeezes it. "He will sweetie." "I know."
