Chapter 40

Avril's Pov- I was on Jimmy Fallon's tonight to promote my new movie. Boy was I nervous. "Ladies and gentlemen please welcome to the stage Avril Elizabeth Fassbender." The crowd stood up and cheered. I wore a simple outfit tonight since I just wasn't feeling going all out. I wave at the audience and hug Jimmy. Before we sit down. The crowd sits down and simmers.

Jimmy- So first off let's just start off by me saying congratulations on getting married what a year ago?."

Me- Yes, a year ago last week.

The crowd cheers and "Awws." As a picture is showed on the screen. I turn and look at the picture. It was one from one of our first movie premieres.

Jimmy- Wow you guys have came a long way.

Me- I know right.

Jimmy- So how does it feel to be married to a Fassbender?.

Me- Well it's like being married to any other person except for the last name. Every marriage has its trial and error.

Jimmy- That's true. So let's talk about how first of all you have an amazing family your mother and father in law. Is Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender and your parents is Evan Peters and Taissa Farmiga like you cannot get any better than that.

Me- Yes I have been blessed very well good parents and and excellent inlaws I couldn't have a better life.

Jimmy- So growing up in the acting business I imagine you have met a crap ton of Hollywood actors and actresses.

Me- Yes, I have met the likes of Sophie Turner to Bill Skarsgard and there are perks of being a child of celebrities you can go to do different movie sets and meet all these wonderful people and such and for me I grew up on the X-men sets and American Horror Story.

*The screen cuts to a picture of my mother holding me as a little toddler*

Crowd: Awwww

Jimmy- "So I just want to say congratulations on your new movie. It's called 20 and Avril can you tell me and the audience. What it's about.?"

Me- "yeah, So it's about this girl she as she goes from transitioning from highschool to college and all the things going on her life and in society of her time."

Jimmy- " So how hard was it to get into this role.?"

Me- "It was a little challenging I remember being stressed out when I got the script. Because this film was set just like the novel it was set during the year of 2020 and I was a little girl myself and this girl was a teenager transforming into an adult while watching this crisis and then it being her first year of college and seeing highschool friends completely come and go. I think when people walk into the theatre they will be more than impressed and possibly somehow find a way, a connection to my character and what she is going through."

Jimmy: "Here is a trailer for the new movie 20 Staring Avril Fassbender."

*Cuts to tralier*

"Look Wilmington, shit gets tough and you have to understand that."

"I do understand, but what I don't understand is how it takes something as serious as this pandemic to make people wake up and realize the real horror story out there. You can make all the movies and tv shows you want, but nothing comes grittier or more so of a blood bath than what we are witnessing with reality among society today."

Audience- Claps and cheers loudly.

Jimmy- "Wow." he waits for it to die down. "Wow, that looks good. 20 is out in theatre's Friday and Avril has a suprise for us all. Avril."

Me: "Everyone here tonight is getting free tickets to see 20. The audience goes wild. In addition to that after the showing you will get to meet and greet me and get something signed."

I wave toward the cameras.

Jimmy- " When we come back we have lulu and the misfit toys performing and many more things. Avril Elizabeth Fassbender everyone!". I stand and up and the crowd cheers as I hug Jimmy.
