Liz's P.O.V.

"Night Wing should be here soon," I said as I was watching the latest news on the anti-ship. Wally and Connor came walking up to my side and watched the show with me. It seemed all CelebTV liked to talk about was Jackson Albright and Alejandra's engagement.

"You know in all the years that I've seen love, I have never seen a couple quite like you guys before," The show host, Jessica Lemon, said talking to Jackson. "It's sad that Alejandra was unable to join us today."

"Yeah, she's very work-oriented," Jackson smiled.

"So tell us Jackson, how did the two of you meet?" Jessica asked.

"Well, honestly, our families have been friends a long time, but because for most of my high school life, I was overseas, I didn't go to Gotham Academy like she did," Jackson Albright said, "and with all the trouble she went through after she was found and taken back home with the Pierce's, I couldn't help admire her bravery when I saw the video of when she was taken hostage and how she fought back her captors." Alejandra never mentioned this...I wonder if this is part of their fake love story or if this guy was actually being honest on this part?

"Yes, that is very true," Jessica replied, "I know I would have been crying for my life. I don't have that strength."

"Honestly, it's that fiery personality that I really love about her," he replied.

"So you came back from overseas and then what happened?" She asked.

"Well for a while, I was distracted with Albright industries," Jackson replied, "then I met Alejandra in this small wine shop on Benson street. Although, I'm not sure why. I guess she wasn't trying to draw attention to herself, because she had this big hat with these really dark sunglasses and a hoody."

"So she was covered up, huh?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah, and it was our luck that we happened to want the same bottle of wine," He replied, "little did I know, she wanted it for the same reason I did. It's her Uncle Malcolm's favorite."

"So, is it okay if we kind of spin off topic here?" Jessica said, "it's just you brought up unwanted attention and I just remembered the attention, unwanted I'm sure, that Alejandra got recently. I'm just curious. I figure you must know. She's your fiancé after all. Because I know her company did suffer a lot after that misunderstanding, did Alejandra suffer as an individual?"

"Oh, yes, depended where she was and if she was recognized," Jackson replied, "she was sometimes told off, there was always whispers around her, but she's always been resilient. It didn't stop her from living her life and fighting for a bottle of wine." Jessica laughed.

"Well, it's a real shame we didn't get to have her here with us," Jessica smiled.

"Well, if you'd like, we could give her a quick call," Jackson smiled.

"Oh, I'd love that," she said. He immediately pulled out his phone as it began to ring.

"Ooh, that's a mistake," I replied wincing.

"Yeah, she doesn't know how to fake emotion like at all," Wally replied. The phone suddenly stopped ringing.

"What do you want now?!" Alejandra's irritated tone slipped out from the phone.

"Well, their little love story ended fairly quickly," Connor replied.

"Babe, you're on speaker, so retract the claws," Jackson replied.
