He swung his foot toward Alice and she quickly leaned back dodging it while moving her ungloved hand close to it to suck away the energy leaving him to slightly stumble as he brought it back down.

"This is very interesting," Bricius spoke as he munched on chips watching the two fight.

"How?" Roy asked, "all I see are two blurs."

"Yes, and that means she's able to take energy and instantly use it in the midst of combat," Bricius explains smiling at them.

"So the question stands why can't she do it when she's level headed?" Roy asked as the two watched the blurs fight it out.

"I wonder..." Bricius said as a mischievous smile formed on his lips as he pulled out a gem and looked down at it.

"What?" Roy said looking at him suspicious. Bricius shrugged as he smirked.

"Let's see what happens, shall we?" He tossed the gem at the two before Roy could even register what he was doing.

Mary saw something glint in her eye and as she swung her fist and Wally dodged, she used her other hand to catch the object. She looked at it startled as she sensed the tingling feeling of the gem. Her eyes widened as she saw an orange aura exclude from her before a weird feeling went through her body. Wally swung his foot expecting it to make impact considering Mary was distracted, but just like that she was gone. He brought his foot back down confused.

"Where'd she go?" Wally asked the boys.

"Hey! Who turned off the lights?!" Wally heard Alice complain. Wally looked around before he realized the complaining was coming from in front of him. "What just happened? What's going on?"

The boys walked closer as Wally kneeled down and looked at the clothes now dropped in a pile in front of him.

"What the..." Roy said as a furry little tail came poking out of the neck hole. The little Yorkie pup came crawling out looking at the three men with widened eyes.

"How'd you guys get so big?" The dog spoke in Alice's voice.

"Alice?" Wally said confused.

"What?" Alice asked tilting her head slightly as her tail wagged behind her.

"So it is a subconscious reaction," Bricius stated nodding, "Fascinating..."

"What is?" She asked before she lifted her snout to the air and began to sniff before she moved back. "I think Lian needs a diaper change...ah! What happened to my nose?!" She leaned back on her hind legs as she put her front paws around her snout before she freaked out again as she saw her paws. "My hands! What happened to my hands?!" She looked down and around. "My body?! What's going on with my- a tail! I have a tail?!"

"Alice, calm down," Wally said, "we'll figure it..." Alice fell to the ground unconscious. "And she's out."

"What exactly did you do?" Roy asked looking at Bricius.

"It was just a harmless shapeshifting Gem," He replied as he continued to stuff himself with chips, "she'll turn back to normal as soon as the Gem absorbs the energy or she figured out how to return the energy back into the gem. In the end, it still works out as good training."

"But why a dog?" Wally said as he lifted up Alice in his arms.

"Must have been thinking about one," Roy shrugged before walking away, "Come on, Lian, let's get you changed."
