Alice's P.O.V.
I don't know how long I've been here...all I knew was I really need to get out. The amount of energy this place held was overbearing and I could feel it vibrating through the walls. Holding back the hunger was only possible by making it attack my own soul. Even as the purple energy glowing through it didn't seem to help like the Gem was being extremely spiteful about being held back.
After holding it so long, I felt like my body was becoming weaker and weaker as I fought to stay conscious. My voice was practically gone now from screaming and pleading to be taken out of here. Tails hugged me and allowed me to clutch onto him in my pain feeling helpless as that's all he could do. He's already tried many times to break through the Cave, and it just was no success. I heard voices making their way through. No...no...visitors...not more energy.
"Alice! Alice!" That voice...I looked up as I recognized it. I felt relieved.
"Wa...lly?" My voice was rough and my throat felt raspy and sore as it vibrated it's way out. I looked at Wally standing on the other side.
"Yeah, I'm right here," he said, "we're getting you out, alright?" He turned in the direction of the entrance. "Bricius, come on!" I watched Wally become a blur and I wasn't sure if that was him trying to vibrate his molecules through the glass or if my sight was beginning to blur.
"Hey, just because everyone is at Caderyn's trial, doesn't mean we could shout around all we want!" Bricius said coming in moments later. He became clear moments later.
"How do we get her out?" Wally asked, "I can't-" Bricius placed his hand over the glass and closed his eyes whispering something in a different language.
I call on the power of Ilgoria.
As a servant to the Soul, clear my path and let me through...
My eyes narrowed. How did I understand what he just said? I watched as a red energy began to pulse out of his hand as he placed his hand on the glass.
"The energy will only work if I remain touching the glass and I stay on this side," Bricius explained, "otherwise the insignias on the walls will block out the energy."
"Got it," Wally said as he waited for the wall to be completely consumed, "I go in alone." He ran in and came to my side lifting me up.
"No, I don't think I can go out there," I said, "this place...it has too much energy." I could already feel it calling to me stronger from the other side of that wall.
"You just got to hang on till we get you out of here," He replied as he carried me across. I cried out and clutched to his shirt as the pain rocked through me as the new wave of hunger hit me hard. There was too much energy. Too much...
"How long do trials usually last here?" Wally asked as he was rushing us through.
"Caderyn is being tried for conspiring against the Bearer," Bricius replied, "when it comes to the Bearer, it could be pretty fast especially depending how dire the charges are. No one in that room is going to give him a chance to even speak out if they find him dangerous to the Bearer."
