"taehyungie." jungkook called out to taehyung but, when he didn't get a response, he sat up and looked around his room for the male.
he wasn't there.
jungkook frowned and checked his phone, sighing in relief when he saw a pink sticky note on the back of his phone.

i went to the store to get you a few things that i read helped for hangovers because i was bored and you didn't look like you were going to wake up anytime soon. i shouldn't take too long but if i do then here's this so you know where i am and that i didn't just leave.

jungkook smiled and stood up to go shower and brush his teeth. after his shower, he got dressed into comfortable clothes before laying back in his bed and waiting for taehyung to get back.
finally, taehyung got back and sighed as he sat down on jungkook's bed with a bunch of bags on his arms and two drinks in his hands.
"okay so i read a couple articles and one said you should have a really good breakfast so i bought things to make that. another said you should drink tea so i got you some hot tea but i didn't know if you liked sweetened or unsweetened so i got both. then i read another article that said take pain killers so i bought some of those." taehyung said and jungkook's eyes widened in shock but he couldn't hold back the large smile made its way to his face.
"you're so cute taehyung." jungkook giggled and taehyung blushed, smiling softly and holding out the hot teas in his hands. "sweet is left. unsweet is right." taehyung said and jungkook took the sweet one, thanking taehyung for everything.
"you really don't have to make breakfast if you don't want to. i've dealt with a hangover before." jungkook said and taehyung shook his head, pulling out the pain killers and a water bottle.
"i'm making breakfast because i already bought the stuff. now take two of these and rest while i'm making breakfast." taehyung set the pills and the water bottle on the bed before kissing jungkook's forehead and leaving his room.
jungkook smiled and set his tea down, grabbing the water bottle and the pills. he popped the two pills in his mouth, drinking the water and swallowing the pills.
he set the pill bottle and the water on his nightstand, pushing the blankets off of his body and standing up to stretch.
his head was still pounding slightly but jungkook was much more focused on the pounding of his heart in his chest. man, he wished he could brag to his friends about this. jungkook grabbed the cup of tea taehyung got him and walked out of his room, making his way to the kitchen.
jungkook smiled as he walked into the kitchen, seeing taehyung focused on reading the intructions on a box of pancake mix.
"need help?" jungkook asked and taehyung looked up from the box of pancake mix. "no. you should be resting. i read an article that said rest is key to getting rid of a hangover." taehyung said and jungkook chuckled, hopping up on the counter and setting his tea beside him.
"well i read an article that said the key to getting rid of a hangover is to keep the person who is making you breakfast out of the kindness of their heart company." jungkook smiled and taehyung shook his head as a smile crept onto his face.
"i didn't see that article." taehyung said and jungkook giggled, taking a small sip of his tea. "that's cause i made it up."
they talked casually as taehyung made breakfast for the both of them. they learned a lot about each other in that small period of time and jungkook knew already that he was falling into a pit of kim taehyung and he was never going to get out of it.
he didn't really mind being there anyway.
"so you were nine years old when you came out to your parents?" jungkook asked in shock as taehyung put whipped cream on his pancakes. "yeah. i mean they thought it was a joke until i brought my little boyfriend home from school one day. we actually got together and broke up that same day because his parents didn't want him anywhere near me." taehyung chuckled and that made jungkook laugh, throwing his head back and clapping his hands because he thought it was hilarious.
"that's amazing. i still haven't come out to my parents because they're literally never here. i'm thinking about doing it as a christmas present and being like 'hey i'm gay merry christmas' y'know?" jungkook said and taehyung shook his head at the younger. "that is so bad. are your parents like religious or something?" taehyung asked and jungkook shook his head quickly.
"no i just feel like they're kind of strangers to me so i don't really owe them anything. if they don't wanna take their time to get to know their own son then i'm not gonna waste my time explaining to them who i am." jungkook said and taehyung nodded, silently agreeing with what jungkook was saying.
jungkook chuckled half heartedly as he looked down at his empty plate. "sorry for killing the mood." jungkook mumbled, resting his chin in his palms as he looked up at taehyung.
"close your eyes." taehyung said with a small smile on his face making jungkook slightly suspicious. "okay.." he mumbled anyway and did what taehyung wanted him to do.
taehyung picked up the can of whipped cream and put some on jungkook's nose which made the younger open his eyes immediately.
taehyung laughed when the boy went cross eyed while trying to look at the tip of his nose.
jungkook smiled and rolled his eyes at taehyung's childishness. "your turn. close your eyes." jungkook said and taehyung closed his eyes without a second thought.
jungkook leaned in and connected his lips with taehyung's, making sure he rubbed all the whipped cream on taehyung's nose. when they pulled away, they both laughed at how ridiculous they looked with whipped cream smudged all over their noses.
and as you may have expected, jungkook didn't kick him out. instead, they spent the entire day together and jungkook even let taehyung stay the night again.
