"i want you to know that we don't like you taehyung. we tolerate you because our dear kookie likes you but we don't appreciate you taking him away from us."
jungkook sighed as seokjin said all that to taehyung who immediately looked at jungkook with slightly widened eyes.
"i apologize for taking him away from you. you can have him back." taehyung pushed jungkook's chair away from his own and jungkook scoffed, smacking taehyung shoulder as he giggled. "you'd give me up that easily?" jungkook asked and taehyung shook his head, pulling his chair close again but this time they were so close that their chairs were touching.
"of course not. i would never even think of giving you up." taehyung whispered and jungkook blushed, holding himself back from climbing onto taehyung's lap and kissing him passionately.
"alright, alright we came to hear seokjin's big announcement. we didn't come to throw up the dinner seokjin just prepared for us." yoongi said and jimin glared at him, smacking the back of his head lightly.
"right, what's the big announcement? are we all going on vacation together again? i mean i'd have to request off from work but i'm totally down." hoseok said and yoongi and jimin cheered as if seokjin had said they were going on vacation.
"guys we're not going on vacation." namjoon said which made the three males cheering stop and frown. "then what is it?"
seokjin stood up and grabbed namjoon's hand, pulling him up with him.
"we're getting married." seokjin said and the four other best friends freaked out.
jimin and jungkook literally screamed and yoongi and hoseok just stared at their friends with shocked looks on their faces, their jaws practically meeting the floor.
"congratulations!" jungkook yelled and clapped his hands together. "oh my god, you have to tell us the details!" jimin yelled and moved his chair closer to the couple.
"yeah we wanna know literally everything." hoseok said and moved closer to jimin, yoongi following soon after.
jungkook followed his best friends and pulled taehyung with him.
"so it was a horrible rainy day and namjoon wanted to go on a walk. i truthfully didn't want to go but then i remembered that he said he wanted to be proposed to in the rain and on a walk. so i got the ring i got him and kept it in my pocket until the time was right and then i popped the question. to be honest, it was really romantic and kissing in the rain is literally just like how it seems in the movies." seokjin said and they all cooed which made their two friends flustered.
"take notes yoongi." jimin said and hoseok laughed, ruffling jimin's hair which made the male pout.
"congratulations you two and thanks for tolerating me." taehyung said and namjoon sighed, shaking his head at seokjin. "thank you but we do like you. seokjin is just stubborn." namjoon whispered and taehyung smiled which made jungkook subconsciously smile.
all the boy sat and talked for awhile before it got late and everyone decided it was time to leave the engaged couple alone so that they could spend time together.
"you have great friends." taehyung said as he helped jungkook climb in through his bedroom window. "i know." jungkook said as he flopped down on his bed, sighing because he missed it so much.
jungkook quickly helped taehyung inside before going over to his door and locking it quickly.
they were only there so that jungkook could get some of his things and bring them to taehyung's. he wasn't moving in permanently but he was temporarily until he gets everything figured out.
"so what do you need me to get?" taehyung asked as he snuggled into jungkook's covers, making sure his shoes didn't touch the perfectly white covers.
"nothing. you can relax." jungkook said as he stuffed some of his clothes into a duffle bag. "well if you really want help, i can help you." taehyung said and jungkook smiled, shaking his head.
"no." jungkook giggled as he grabbed his laptop and his charger, also making sure he grabbed his phone charger because he hated having to share one with taehyung.
it was quiet for a bit as jungkook double checked to see if he had everything. once he was sure he had it all, he laid down beside taehyung as they stared up at the ceiling.
"so what do you think about marriage?" taehyung asked and jungkook shrugged, turning his head and looking at him. "i think i'm too young to think about it. i think twenty five is about the time when a person should settle down and get married. by then they should have a college degree and a good job so that they can afford to settle and maybe have kids." jungkook said and taehyung hummed.
"do you want kids eventually?" taehyung asked and jungkook smiled, nodding his head. "yes. kids are adorable and i'm really looking forward to having some of my own in the future." jungkook said as he thought about what it'd be like to have a couple kids.
"what about you? you're not answering these questions." jungkook asked and taehyung smiled as he turned to look at jungkook. "cause you're not asking them." taehyung said and jungkook rolled his eyes playfully.
"now i am. what do you think about marriage and do you want kids? go." jungkook said and taehyung chuckled, looking back up at the ceiling.
"i think you should get married when you find someone you want to marry. i don't think there should be a specific time or age placed on it. you'll get married when you find that person you want to spend the rest of your life with and that's that. and yes, i do want kids. i want to adopt twins." taehyung said and jungkook turned to look at him once again.
"twins, huh?" he smirked but before taehyung could say anything else there was a knock on the door.
"jungkook, are you in there?"
"oh shit."
