jungkook was woken up from his peaceful nap because his phone was blowing up.
he groaned but didn't move from where he was tangled up in taehyung's arms, not wanting their nap to come to an end.
"your phone is ringing." taehyung said tiredly and jungkook sighed, getting up and answering it just so taehyung could sleep in peace.
"yes?" jungkook asked as he yawned, stretching and slowing making his way to the kitchen to get a bottle of water. "jungkook. it's fucking five in the evening, what the hell are you still doing asleep?" jimin asked and jungkook shrugged even though his best friend couldn't see him.
"i'm sorry that i wanted to take a nap. i stayed up late last night." jungkook made up some random excuse when the real reason he was sleeping was because him and taehyung accidentally fell asleep while watching a movie.
"well anyway, yoongi, hoseok, and i were wondering if you wanted to get dinner together. we were thinking of inviting tae too." jimin said and jungkook bit his lip, not really wanting to leave his house today.
"is it okay if i say no? i'm just a little tired and i don't feel like leaving my house today." jungkook said honestly and jimin chuckled on the other end of the call.
"it's no biggie kookie. get some rest so that we can hang out soon. we were all getting worried cause it's been like two days straight that you haven't facetimed us to freak out about something." jimin said and jungkook giggled, slowly heading back to his room.
"well i can assure you that i will have something to freak out about soon." jungkook smiled and jimin hummed. "okie kookie. get back to napping but don't forget to eat." jimin said and jungkook nodding.
"i won't. have a nice dinner jimin hyung. love you."
"love you too kook." jimin said before they both ended the call.
jungkook sighed and entered his room, setting his phone down on his desk before letting himself fall onto his bed. "who was it?" taehyung asked as he pulled the younger boy close once again, settling them into their go to cuddling position.
"jimin. he wanted to know if i wanted to have dinner with him and some of the other guys but i said no." jungkook said and taehyung gasped dramatically. "jeon jungkook said no when free food was being offered? do you have a fever or something?" taehyung asked jokingly, even putting his hand to jungkook's forehead to 'check his fever'.
jungkook rolled his eyes and chuckled lightly. "as a matter of fact, i do have a fever. it's called kim taehyung and it's been really hard to recover from." jungkook said and taehyung laughed, leaning down and pressing a kiss to jungkook's forehead.
jungkook blushed and buried his face further in taehyung's neck, trying to hide his blush.
"do you wanna go out?" taehyung asked and jungkook's eyes widened, thinking taehyung was asking him out. "for dinner?" taehyung elaborated and jungkook let out a sigh, hitting taehyung's chest because he scared him for a moment.
"i thought you were asking me out." jungkook laughed and taehyung chuckled, shaking his head. "i mean we can consider this date if you want but i'm just hungry and i want food." taehyung said and jungkook nodded, agreeing with the older boy.
"yeah let's go out— for dinner." jungkook giggled as he stood up, looking through this clothes for something a little nicer than sweatpants and a t shirt.
jungkook picked out a white button up and a pair of black skinny jeans.
"do you wanna borrow some of my clothes again?" jungkook asked as he buttoned up his shirt, not looking at taehyung and missing the hungry look in his eyes. "sure." taehyung mumbled, snapping himself out of the trance he was in.
for taehyung, it was getting harder and harder each day to control himself around jungkook. he thought back to the night they hooked up so many times and wished that they could do that again but he didn't want to make things awkward.
"tae!" jungkook yelled for like the fifth time, trying to get the olders attention. "sorry." taehyung put on a smile as jungkook threw some clothes at him.
"you alright?" jungkook asked and taehyung nodded as he started changing. "yeah i'm just still trying to wake up a little." taehyung said and jungkook chuckled, shaking his head as he grabbed his phone and his wallet.
"do you wanna drive?" jungkook asked as he grabbed his keys and turned around to look at taehyung.
jungkook almost melted went he saw how good taehyung looked in the clothes he gave him. he was wearing regular light blue jeans and a white button up but it looked so good against his tan skin.
"sure, i'll drive if you want me to." taehyung said and that snapped jungkook out of his thoughts. "kay." jungkook said simply and tossed his keys over to taehyung.
jungkook left his room and put on a pair of his many shoes, taehyung following shortly after.
"so where are we going?" taehyung asked as he started the car. "i'll tell you the directions. this is my favorite place ever." jungkook said and taehyung nodded.
they got there relatively quick and taehyung parked the car in the packed parking lot. "should we have called and made reservations?" taehyung asked as they walked towards the entrance to the fancy looking restaurant.
jungkook just shook his head and smiled at the lady at the front, walking passed all the people who were waiting for an open table.
jungkook whispered something in the woman's ear and she nodded quickly, motioning them to follow her and she took them to the very back of the restaurant where the tables were extremely separated.
"someone will be right with you." the woman bowed and jungkook nodded, glancing over at taehyung who was both confused and shocked.
"what the hell did you say to her?"
