(A/N Sorry for the lack of updates, things at work have been hectic so I had no time to write at all)

Midoriya's P.O.V.

It's been two weeks since Kacchan and I broke up. This is breaking my heart. What's worse is, he seems utterly destroyed, he hasn't spoken since then. Well I lied, he's spoken maybe three sentences, and that was threatening Kirishima to leave him alone. "FUCK OFF!" "DIE!" "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE SHITTY HAIR!" That's all he's said.

Occasionally, he'll catch me looking at him, but he always just looks away. Every day after class, I rush after him, calling after him, but he just ignores me. I try to run after him, but he started bringing his skateboard to school after I ran beside him all the way to his front door. He also ignores all my texts and calls.

I want to just give up and leave him alone, but I don't want to! I need to talk to him. He needs to know the truth, about this quirk, and that I would never cheat on him...

The next school day, as I'm walking onto the school campus, I see the back of a blond spiky head, and he's walking! Maybe he forgot his skateboard today! After school is my only chance to talk to him! I start heading to the classroom, determined that this would be my day. I sit down in my seat and Uraraka, who has become one of my best friends, waves to me.

"Deku! You look happier today!" She says from her seat. "Yeah! I feel like today is my day!" I said as I walked through the desks to my seat, I didn't want to shout out my plans to speak to Kacchan across the classroom, otherwise, he'd find a way to escape talking to me. It's best if he didn't expect it (at this point he probably does but I won't say anything if you don't)

I sit down and start whispering to her, "I'm going to get to talk to Kacchan today, I'm sure of it." She huffs in disappointment, "You should really just move on, it doesn't seem like he's going to respond to you at all" she whispers back, although she can't hide the frustration in her voice. "I need him to know the truth! He deserves it!" "He doesn't deserve anything! You deserve better!"

"I'm the one that caused him to be hurt! He's the one that deserves better!" I whisper back, now I was the one who was getting frustrated, she was always persistent on the fact that Kacchan didn't deserve anything from me and that I should move on. I don't get why it matters so much to her.

"Yeah well, I thi-" and she stops talking because Mr. Aizawa entered the room. "Enough chatter, listen up!"

Like Aizawa I'm too tired for class so... TIME SKIP TO AFTER CLASS

Now is my chance, I rush out of the classroom, behind a speed walking Kacchan, weaving through the crowds of students, ignoring the shouts of Uraraka calling after me. We exit the building and the crowd disperses a bit, which allows me room to run and catch up to him, heading off alone in the direction of our houses.

"KACCHAN! WAIT! PLEASE!" I shout, and to my surprise, he stops walking, abruptly. Which causes me to skid to a stop, almost crashing into him. "Kacchan, please just listen to me," I say, running out of breath. He turns around to face me, looking at me briefly, before his gaze falls to the ground.

This is the first time I've been this close to him in a while, he seems pale, and there are defined bags under his eyes, has he not been sleeping? He seems completely drained, the sight almost makes me cry, but what I have to say is more important than crying.

"Kacchan, this summer, I swear to you I did not cheat on you! I love you! I still do! And this quirk, I wasn't hiding it, I...I borrowed it from someone else! All summer I was training to be strong enough to use it! That's it! I promise! I'll always be honest with you from now on, please just talk to me," I grab his hands in mine, squeezing them tightly, I didn't want to let go ever again.

He finally looks up at me, his ruby red eyes meeting mine, he remains silent, staring into my eyes, searching them to see if what I was saying was true, which it is. "Deku..." he says, quietly, which was strange for Kacchan to be quiet, ever. "Midoriya!" I hear Uraraka say, and hear her footsteps running closer. Kacchan looks over my shoulder and then lets go of my hands, sprinting away.

"DAMMIT!" I shout slamming my bag on the ground. I whip around, furious, "WHAT?!" She stops running, shocked at my outrage, "I was going to ask you if you had any strategies for tomorrow's training" I sigh, picking up my bag from the ground, "No, I don't, not yet" "Hopefully we'll be partners! That would be so fun! I would make sure you had a blast, so you can forget about Bakugo!" "Yeah, sure, whatever," I say, as I start trudging towards my house.

I reach my house, and there's a different car parked in front of my house, I guess my mom invited someone from work over. I head to the front door, and walk in the house, "Mom, I'm home!" "Well well well, hello, son," a gruff voice says. I see my father, with my mom sitting on the couch, with her head in her hands, she looks up, her eyes filled with tears, "Izuku, I'm sorry"

The Next Day in School

Bakugo's P.O.V.

I sat in my desk in silence, watching the class come in, I wanted to see Deku...after yesterday...I needed to. He's the last one to come in, except he has his hoodie on still, pulled over his head, and he slowly walks to his desk, putting his head down.

He probably regretted talking to me...he probably hates himself now. And it's my fault. I hit my head down onto my desk. It hurt but I deserve it. I hear the door open and I pick my head up, I know it's Mr. Aizawa and I don't like to get on his bad side ever since he momentarily erased my quirk.

He scans the classroom, his eyes landing on Deku, who didn't attempt to lift his head, it was going to be a rough morning. "Midoriya, head up! I'm tired too, but you don't see me resting. Unless learning to be a hero is no longer a priority." He says, his voice calm, and terrifying. Deku lifts his head up, but his hoodie stays over his head, I couldn't see his face at all, at this point the entire class was staring at him for defying Aizawa.

"Midoriya, remove the hood from your head, I will only say this once," Aizawa says, it's so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Actually, a pencil, as Kaminari knocked his pencil on the floor at this moment, what a fucking idiot.

Deku sighs, "Yes, Mr. Aizawa," he pushes back the hoodie on his face, revealing a black eye, and various cuts on his face, he takes off the hoodie completely, and his right arm was completely bandaged, and his left hand was bandaged as well. "Erm, have you gone to see Recovery Girl?" Aizawa asks, clearly stunned. "Yes sir," He responded, quietly. I can feel the heat all over my body, sweat in my hands
