Millie
-

I was stood frozen as Jeremy gave me a wide smile.

"Hey, Millie!" He smiled.

I had no words. I was so frozen in my place. My feet felt glued to the floor and even then my legs felt like they weighed 300 pounds each. My hand was gripping the door handle and I couldn't even move it to close the door.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

He took my silence as a yes, slowly coming through the doorway. I forced my body to move, closing the door and going to my phone. I pulled up Shawn's messages.

Millie
Please hurry

I sent it and Jeremy looked around.

"Place looks the same. I see Mommy and Daddy left it for you." He smiled, turning to face me.

My mouth felt as dry as cotton and my lips felt glued together.

"What? I don't get a hello?" He asked.

He came over and wrapped his arms around me, his hands low on my waist, dangerously close to my butt. I wanted to scream, run, something, but I felt too frozen. He released his grip and went to sit on the couch.

"Come sit, we can talk!" He smiled and grabbed my wrist roughly, guiding us to the couch.

We sat down and he placed his hand high on my upper thigh. He pushed a piece of hair behind my ear and I couldn't even flinch away from it. I felt like I was my 16 year old self, trying to escape that night.

"I missed you, babe."

I stayed silent.

"Vicky sent me your address, she said you were lonely. She said you hadn't talked to her in a while."

I was going to kill that bitch.

"Millie, listen. I know that night I-"

There was a loud thud and I whipped my head, Shawn was stood in the doorway and his face went from worried to confused to betrayed.

"Millie, who is that?" Jeremy asked.

"Her boyfriend." Shawn responded, "Who the hell are you?"

"Jeremy." I finally spoke.

Shawn's eyes seem to light with fire and he basically ran over to Jeremy. He saw his hand on my leg and within seconds, Jeremy was on the floor behind the couch. I felt myself finally breathe now that his hand was gone. Shawn was standing over Jeremy, if this was a cartoon there would be smoke coming out of his ears.

I grabbed Shawn's hand and his body softened with my touch. He bent down to grab Jeremy's shirt and lifted him off the ground.

"Do not ever come back here." Shawn grumbled in his face, throwing him towards the door.

Jeremy laughed at Shawn. He stood up and limped out the door, shaking his head. Shawn went to close the door and came over to the couch, pulling me into his arms. I felt my body shaking, but didn't really know if I was crying.

"Vicky, she sent him my address." I managed out.

"It's okay, I'm here."

Shawn rocked my body, trying to calm me down. I guess it worked because a few hours later, I felt myself wake up. I looked around and saw we were still on the couch, Shawn his arms loosely around me and his head was tilted to the side. His mouth was slightly opened and he was snoring. I shook his shoulder and whispered his name. His eyes shot open and he looked around. They landed on me and he sighed.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I am, thank you." I pushed my head into his shoulder and wrapped my arm around him.

"You scared me half to death. I'm surprised I didn't get pulled over driving here. Did he try anything?"

"He didn't, he wanted to, I know he did."

I sighed, happy in his arms. I felt safe. Shawn's phone rang from his pocket and he pulled it out. I went to stand, but he held me where I was. He answered the phone and hummed to the other person.

"I'm busy. I will be ready in an hour. I'm busy, Dylan. It's important. An hour." He hung up and looked at me.

"Pap walk with Camila. We have to go to some health bar. We have an hour, want to do anything?"

"I just want you to hold me." I told him.

"Listen, Mills. I was thinking-"

"Don't. If it's something bad or sad, let it wait." I interrupted him.

"It's not either. I think you should move in with me. I live in that gated community and I just don't feel comfortable with you here alone now." He looked at me, going to push a piece of my hair behind my ear.

I flinched away and cleared my throat.

"Yeah. I will think about it, plus we still have to tell Dylan."

His eyes went hurt and it wasn't from what I said.

"I want you to meet some of my friends. I will host a dinner. You can bring someone and meet my friends." He smiled, however it looked half forced.

I nodded and went back to laying on his shoulder. I scooted closer to him and his arms pulled me tighter to him. I chuckled at the actions we were doing.

"We're like high schoolers." I laughed.

"How so?"

"We are as close as we can get without actually crushing each other."

He pulled my body on top of his and smiled.

"Is this closer?"

He pulled me closer and pressed his lips to mine. My hands instinctively went to cup his cheeks and his arms loosened around me. I moved my body to straddle his and his hands rested on my hips. We made out for who knows how long, I was extremely turned on to say the least, but Shawn had to leave.

I pulled away and we both caught our breath. His eyes fluttered open and he smiled.

"You are perfect, do you know that?" He moved his hands up and down my thighs.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He suddenly asked.

I was taken back by his question and stared at him.

"Of course, yes." I smiled, immediately connecting our lips again.

It was short lived however, Shawn knew he had to go so it was time to let him.

"Now, I have to kiss Camila and be like a boyfriend to her, it means absolutely nothing, I love you and come home to you. Don't forget about moving in, I'll be back in two hours!" He smiled, leaving my loft.

I laughed and sat on the couch. My smile stayed and I squealed, almost dancing around my loft. I was so
happy. Shawn was amazing. Now, we had to fix the Jeremy thing.
