Millie
-

It was soon becoming 8. I was in bed, writing for another blog site. Once I had realized the time, I got up and got ready. I pulled on a pair of jean shorts and a grey sweater. I put on some flip flops and put my hair into a braid. I only did light makeup, barely anything actually. I only put on some mascara and then deodorant and perfume.

I slid my phone in my pocket and grabbed my bag. I went to the living room and turned off any lights. There was a knock on the door and I went to it. I pulled it open and there was Shawn. He had on grey sweatpants and a black hoodie. He looked over my outfit and let out a light laugh.

"What?" I frowned.

"Nothing, you wore that the first time we hung out before the tour." He smiled.

I looked at my outfit and remembered the first time. We went for frozen yogurt and to the beach. I smiled and he grabbed my hand. We went out to his car and he helped me in the passenger side. He got into the drivers side and we started driving.

I kept asking where we were going, but he didn't tell me. He wouldn't tell me. I looked out the window and watched the scenery go by. I frowned, remembering how secretive we would have to be tonight. I looked over at Shawn and he smiled, glancing over at me. He placed his hand on my thigh and I almost screamed at him.

I wish things could have been different. How we met. How I came on tour. The contract. I was so busy in my head, that before I even knew it, we were at the location. I looked at this sign and saw it was the frozen yogurt shop we first went to. I looked at him and almost got teary eyed.

"Now you see why I laughed?" He chuckled, pulling the key from the car.

He quickly came over to help me out and we went inside. There was anyone here besides the worker. We got our frozen yogurt and Shawn paid again. I got to try one of the new flavors and was too excited. Shawn said we could eat in his car, for public reasons. We went to his car and he helped me in, getting in on his side. He started the car and drove, which confused me.

"Why aren't we eating there?"

"I have a better place." He smiled.

We ate along the way, I finished mine and Shawn shortly followed. In a few minutes we pulled up to the beach. It then hit me that he was recreating the first time we hung out. Tears filled my eyes and I looked over at him.

"Don't cry, Mills!" He laughed.

"I can't help it. That night was so much fun and life seemed so simple." I sniffled.

He smiled and came around to my side of the car. He pulled out a blanket from the back and said he would carry me, incase sand got into the bandages. I almost laughed as we walked to the water, imagining what we looked like to other people.

The thought made me turn my head to check if anyone was around. I didn't see anyone, which made me sigh in relief. Shawn set the towel down and then set me on top. I laughed when he sat down, making a wiping motion across his forehead. I wrapped my arms around his torso and he put his right arm over my shoulders, pulling us together.

I smiled and inhaled his scent. He pressed a kiss to my head and we watched the water come up the sand and then back.

"I missed you." I said.

"I missed you so much more."

"I was such a mess. I didn't eat for days, I barely left my bed. I stopped talking to Vicky, Ivan, Olivia, Jake."

"Mills, the few concerts after you were gone, I was so distracted that Ivan slapped me every time I got off stage. He said that if I couldn't focus I should drive and see how that works out."

I laughed, Ivan was tough on Shawn, but it was sweet.

"I really missed you." I sighed.

I looked up at him and kissed him. We sat for a few more minutes on the blanket and kissed a few more times. We decided to go back to my loft and spend the night there. It was already 10 and I felt bad making him drive home.

We got back to the loft and I told Shawn I was going to change. I went to my room and shut the door. I thought about how I wanted tonight to go. I shrugged and went to my dresser. I pulled open the drawers and picked out sweatpants and a tight black tee shirt. I went to the top drawer and pulled out a navy blue one piece. It was mostly lace and had a cage effect to it. I smirked and quickly changed. I walked back to the living room and Shawn had his shoes off and was in the kitchen.

"Hey, what are you making?" I laughed, seeing him by the microwave.

"I have popcorn." He smiled.

I hopped onto the counter and watched him move through the kitchen. He poured two glasses of water and got a bowl from a cabinet. The microwave dinged and he pulled the bag from it. He dumped it into the bowl and turned to me, where the garbage can was.

"Why are you staring?" He chuckled.

"You are so hot, I can't help it." I smiled.

"Mills." He laughed and took the bowl and cups to the living room.

He came back into the kitchen when he noticed I hadn't followed. He gave me a confused look and I reached for the collar of his hoodie. I pulled him between my legs and wrapped them around his back, pressing our lips together.

I thought in the moment, life was perfect. I felt safe with him, I felt happy. I pulled my lips from his and looked at him. He gave me a goofy smile and I tried to speak. No words came out. I stared at him and realized what I wanted to say.

"I love you." I said, smiling after I finished.

Shawn's eyes went wide and he smiled so widely. His eyes went over my face for any hesitation and he laughed.

"Say it again." He smiled.

"I love you." I smiled.

He pressed his lips to mine and smiled, quickly pulling away.

"Again."

"I love you."

He gave me a quick kiss again and he pulled me onto him.

"Say it again." He put his hands on my cheeks.

"Shawn, I'm ready."

"Ready for what?" He gave me a confused look.

"Make love to me." I smiled.

His eyes went as big as saucers and he almost giggled. That was when I realized, I wanted to spend the rest of my life with this boy.
