I got excited, lol.
Sorry about remy, but that's on you.
To bad Virgil will never be reunited with his dad *sobs*
Anyway: your chapter, Ladies, gentlemen and others
Logic concealing his gun in his satchel and Virgil stowing his knives inside his jacket, Patton carried the emergency bag, because he could never fight anyone (he believed in hugs, not harm; but when the other person was trying to kill you... snuggle chances were slim)
They got on the train, speeding to rescue the prince panics on their behalf
Virgil curled up in his seat to nap, as it would be three hours till they got to the city. He looked like a dark, strange kitten.
Twenty minutes passed in an uncomfortable silence until patton asked logic a question
"Why is the prince in so much danger he needs a special rescue? Surely ISSPT has plenty of others in equal danger?"
Logic looked at him approvingly and Patton felt like he could just die (in a good way)
"That's very insightful of You morality"
There went the good feeling, straight offff out the train window morality. Not Patton, morality.
The hot *frantic coughing* THE INTELLIGENT boy continued
"Prince is human. He will, inevitably make a mistake."
Patton nodded.
"When that happens ... well he will have harmed ISSPTs public image, undoing any good deeds he may have done in their eyes, and if the experience of 'sunshine' or, Thomas sanders, ISSPT will 'remedy' this with a painful public execution."
Well, if there was any way to kill a conversation, that was it.
They sat in silence for the rest of the journey, and logic read a book.
However if patton hadn't been so distracted with how pretty Logan's hair looked in the sunlight (like autum leaves, a perfect, glowing golden brown) he might have noticed that the boys eyes never left the top of the left page, Logan turning the page every 25 seconds exactly so that Patton didn't notice that he was actually gazing into the happy boys never ending sky that made his eyes.
Virgil snored.
It kinda ruined the mood.Look at me being sappy, then ruining it.
APROX 2 HOURS LATER IN GRENSHIRE CITY
Roman prince knew he was adored by the public.
One didn't earn the alis 'Prince Charming' or simply 'prince' by being hated.
He also knew that with his fire powers, and the glorious ISSTP behind him, no comman thug in this city could harm him....
So why did the three boys at the other end of the ally scare him so much?
They were clearly up to no good, but it was his civic duty as the prince to at least investigate...CHOOSE
Roman calls out to them
Roman aproches them
Roman runs from them
This chapter is short, but the next few choices will be close together in the story so this will happen a lot for a while potentially. Sorry.
