Hey.
There's a lot of telephone dialogue, so I used a different format for when they are on the phone
He keyed in Logan's Number.

The phone rang, and rang and rang until

Logan: salutations anxiety.
Virgil sighed with relief
Virgil: Logan! Great to hear from ya.
Logan: it's logic, and that was grammatically incorrect. Why did you call me?
Virgil: wish I could say it was a social call, but I need you to trace a number for me.
Logan: if this was a social call it would be over, I presume this call will be the most recent in your call history?
Virgil: yeah.
Logan: a moment please.
A series of numbers flashed on Virgils phone.
Logans skills were scary sometimes.

Logan: there you go anxiety.
Virgil: thanks, lo— LOgic—.
Logan: wasn't a problem.
Virgil: I miss you.

Logan sat at his desk, not quite sure how to respond.
He missed his friend to, but his emotions made him weak, so he could not indulge them.
So instead of replying, he hung up.

Logan hung up on him.
That really stung.
He called the number that Logan had given him.

They awnsered it.
Virgil: seriously who are you?
?: please tell me you've left the city.
Virgil: nope. I can't trust you, if I don't know who you are.
?: sorry dear, no can do.
Virgil: ugh fine. Why do I need to leave.
?: the resistance are fools
Virgil scoffed
?:if they think they can have peace the way they are trying to achieve it.
?:the reason I need you to leave, is because I am going to burn the city to the ground.

Virgil almost screamed.
This mad man (the voice was distorted but clearly male) was a real life version of ISSPT propagandas version of supers.
A super villain.

Virgil: DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE WILL DIE IF YOU DO THAT?
?: less then the amount of innocent supers ISSPT has condemned.
Virgil: that doesn't justify genocide.
?: relax, it's not genocide, and I won't target regular citizens. As long as they do nothing stupid they should be fine.
Virgil: that's stupid. Even if everyone handles it perfectly, innocent people will still die.
?:price of war I suppose darling.
Virgil: I will stop you.
?: you'll try.

This time Virgil hung up.
It bothered him slightly that the villain had called him darling, and dear, but he had bigger problems.
Innocent men, woman, children and the elderly were going to die horrible deaths if he didn't act.

As he ran out of his apartment he dialed Logan and Emile on a confrance call.

Logan: I was monitoring your call, trying to track his location. I heard everything.
The way he hadn't even said hello filled Emile in on how dire the situation was; logan was never so informal.
Emile: care to catch me up?

As Virgil ran down the stairs, logan talked to Emile.
By the time he was outside, the older man was up to date.

Logan: are you all in close proximity to the city?
Virgil:already there.
Pacani: on my way be there in 5.
Logan: excellent. Meet me outside the public libary in 10 minutes. It's unwise to discuss plans on the phone... you never know who could be listening.

Logan arrived first.
He looked over his shoulder before ducking into the building.
This was the first time he'd left his office in months.

Virgil arrived.
And saw logan.
His heart cried out.
Logan was a mess.
He looked like he hadn't slept or eaten in weeks (he got the minimum of both to survive)

Emile arrived seconds behind them.

Logan took out a folder.
"I have to plans."
The nerd explained.
"One is defensive the other offensive. Defence is essentially a city wide evacuation, offence, we track this guy down and take the fight to him. Both have risks. If we go on defence, he may well escape and try again, however who knows how many people we could save. If we go offence, we prevent him from striking again, but it will mean that many lives are risked."
