Stepping out of the meeting room, followed by Leïa and Holdo, Ly'ra took out her comlink from her belt and stopped in the corridor, looking at the Resistants passing by around her. She stepped aside and called her mentor.

"Dante, I'm gonna need you and Bango quickly. Leïa is sending us in a mission, and we have to be ready to go as soon as we leave Light Speed."

The Jedi answered few seconds later, the loud noises behind him indicating he was still in the air-shed with the transports.

"Copy that Cap', the Fighters will be ready."

The young woman put her communicator back into her belt and headed towards Dameron's room where she knew he left her stuff. And as she didn't know what was awaiting for them, the pilot decided to be safe and took several weapons. Walking by, she crossed the way of Jay and Niv, who offered her a friendly smile.

"So?"

The young woman winked and shrugged, innocently.

"The Future has talked..."

"Ha! See? I told you! When do you leave?"

Ly'ra nodded, stepping back towards Poe's cabin.

"Right when we'll leave Hyper Space, so I'll see you back on the new base."

Jay smiled at her before taking her quickly in his arms.

"May the Force be with you then. See you later Sweetheart!"

The young woman smiled back before turning in another corridor on her right. Just when she was reaching her boyfriend's cabin, the door slid open on Poe and Finn.

"Finn! You're awake, that's awesome! How do you feel?"

"I'll be fine... I guess..."

The former Stormtrooper seemed a bit confused still, but he nodded slowly, putting on the jacket Poe just gave him. Ly'ra arched a brow, pointing it curiously.

"Oh but that's..."

The pilot gently took her hand before putting her close to his body.

"A little welcome present for now working for the Resistance... Something wrong Princess?"

The young woman turned her green eyes on Dameron and shook her head.

"Not at all. I just need few stuff..."

Poe interrupted her, frowning.

"Oh so that's it, you're leaving me? It's Jay right?"

Unable to hold back an amused smile, the pilot gently nudged her boyfriend's shoulder, under the eyes of Finn, who was still completely surprised by the relationship his friends were maintaining.

"No dumbass! Leïa is sending me in a Recognition mission with Dante and Bango. The Resistance needs a new base."

Poe suddenly lost all his humour, his eyes darkened by his worry.

"Okay, I'm coming with you then..."

Ly'ra arched a brow, stepping back from the pilot.

"I don't think so. She said "small team" and I can take care of myself without you Dameron. I did it during six years, I can hold few days more... You'll take care of my men though."

Obviously not convinced, Poe sighed, but his girlfriend didn't let him do anything more. She stepped into the room, chose several of her favorite weapons: her double-blade, her daggers that she fixed on her forearms, her blaster that went back inti its spot against her right leg. She then put on her long leather black coat, grabbed a small travel bag she was always keeping ready, before turning to face the two men, who were still studying her.
