Every time I read these characters I'm struck dumb by the awe I have for their propensity for stupidity.

Natural Selection just skipped right over you, huh sis? Sticking that fork in your toaster for the fifth time didn't teach you your lesson? Keep doing it, let's see what happens.
Most people have at least some sense of Self Preservation. Not you, though. No, don't worry, I get it. I'm okay with dying too most of the time.

That plan you're drafting up to liberate yourself may be totally, obviously flawed, but I guess that factoid just skipped right over your notice. It's fine. The guards aren't anything to worry about anyways. I'm sure plot armor will get you through it.

And somehow, somehow, I always end up feeling like I'm the stupid one. Because in a way, I am! Sitting here reading about some dumb hö who doesn't have the most basic of survival instincts, giving it my time, my energy.
I am the fool in that situation.
