The Sky Army's Defeat- Chapter Three: The Aftermath

The king returned hours later with a pair of handcuffs in it's tenticals.

It clasped them on the General's wrists with ease and dragged him down the long hallway of cells.

At the end of the hallway, the king pushed open two large doors, then shoved the general through.

They walked down a maze of hallways until the king stopped abruptly in front of two iron doors and shoved Sky through, locking the doors behind them both.

The General tripped and fell to the ground and stayed there, not looking up.

The king sighed and shoved the general forward.

He growled a curse under his breath before slowly standing up again.

The king huffed in annoyance and dragged the general to a chair in the middle of the room, strapping him down when they got there.

The General resisted slightly, glaring at the squid and trying to push it away, but it didn't work.

When the king was sure that he couldn't escape, it smirked and walked over to the double doors, leaving the general alone.

How could this have happened?

Why did this happen?

The squids obviously knew my primary weakness..

But how?

I make it obvious that I care for my recruits?

If so, that's a good and bad thing, but still...

How did the squids notice?

Have they really gotten smarter?

Or have we dumbed down to their level?

Notch I hope not.

The door opened, breaking the general from his thoughts and the king stepped in followed by two squid humanoids.

No... Not them... Please not them...

There stood the General's closest friends and recruits.

Kyle and Martin.
