The Sky Army's Defeat- Chapter Two: Recruitment

A sharp slap woke the General with a start, forcing him to jump into the wall.

He groaned and shook his head to clear his blurry thoughts, slowly glancing up at the person who had slapped him.

The king towered over him, smirking with pleasure.

"Hello, Sky." it spat.

The General stared at the ground, not wanting to look at the monster who had destroyed everything he ever cared about.

"Look at me when I speak to you!" the king roared, wrapping a tentical around the General's head and forcing him to look it in the eyes.

The General shivered as he stared into the King's black voids it had for eyes.

"How's the budder god? Not so high and mighty now are you Sky?" It sneered.

The General said nothing.

"We really did break you. Those screams too much for you to hear last night?"

That got the general going.

He lunged forward, trying to break free of the squids grasp.

But much to Sky's disappointment, the squid king held on firmly, keeping him in place.

He let out a cry of fury and reached for the squid to no avail.

The king snickered and pushed the General back, slamming him against the wall.

He grunted but stood up again, glaring at the squid.

It laughed and wrapped a tentical around his torso, making it impossible for his to thrash about.

The king glared at Sky and brought him closer so they were eye to eye.

"So you want to be that way?"

"Leave my recruits alone!" the general snarled.

The king laughed and ran another tentical under his chin.

"Oh Sky. They're not your recruits anymore."

The general's eyes widened and he shook his head.

"No. No you didn't."

"Oh but I did Sky. Every. Last. One."

He let out a roar of fury and trashed around the best he could in the king's grasp.

"No!"

"Oh yes Sky. They're all loyal to me now. All hail the squids, the Sky Army shall fall." the king spat.

It was at that moment that the General stopped thrashing and hung his head, tears dripping down his sweaty face.

The king chuckled deeply and tossed the General to the side like a rag doll, then strode out of the cell, locking the door behind it.

The General had curled into a ball started sobbing in the corner, his back turned to the bars.

Smirking at it's work, the king walked out confidently, knowing it had finally defeated the General.

And it knew that Sky Army was truly done for, cuz after all...

Take down the General, the army goes with him.
