Eleven and Max hugged Alex. "what happened?" Will asked. Alex was about to answer when more blood started coming out her nose. "Are you okay?" Mike asked. Alex shook her head. "I need to suck energy from something." Alex said. "Why?" Max asked. Alex was about to tell them what happened but then Will's walkie was talking. It was Dustin. "Nevermind just lets get you something to suck the energy out off and get ready. Dustin is gonna be here any minute." Lucas said. Will, Mike and Max started looking for something with energy. "I thought I lost you." Eleven said. "You'll never lose me." Alex said. "Promise?" El asked. Alex smiled. "promise." Alex said. Mike, Will, Max and Lucas came back. "We couldn't find anything." Mike said. "Can you suck the energy of a person?" Lucas asked. Alex nodded. "Who has the most energy?" Will asked. Mike and Max both looked at Lucas. "What!?! Why me?" Lucas asked. "Cuz no one else wants to and you asked the question." Max said. "Fine." Lucas said. Lucas walked to Alex. "is it gonna hurt?" Lucas asked. "Maybe." Alex said. Alex grabbed Lucas's wrist and closed her eyes. A few seconds later she stopped. "Done." Alex said. "Wow that didn't feel like anything." Lucas said. Lucas got up and almost hit the floor but Alex lifted him before he could. "Thanks." Lucas said. Alex nodded. They heard a car in the front. "Come. Dustin's here we'll introduce you to him later." Max said. Max got Alex's hand and they hid. Alex was confused but stayed quiet. Eleven closed her eyes and Alex saw little robots walking on their own. Alex got scared and jumped back a little hitting Mike. "it's fine. Eleven's making them walk." Mike said. Alex nodded and saw a boy with a cap following the robots. She saw he was holding hair spray so she slid down and sat on the floor. She heard Mike say "now." to Eleven and all the robots stopped. Everyone but Alex left their hiding spot. Alex hid her head in her knees and waited. All of a sudden she heard a high-pitch scream and covered her ears. She opened her eyes a little and saw Lucas and Max walking to the kitchen. "Where's Alex?" Eleven asked. "Where's who?" Dustin asked. "She's probably invisible again." Will said. "What?" Dustin asked. Mike started to look and he found her. "You okay?" Mike asked. Alex looked at him and shook her head. "Why not?" Mike asked. Alex pointed at Lucas. "Right. Super hearing." Mike said. Mike held his hand and Alex took it. He took Alex to where Dustin, Will and Eleven were. "Dustin this is Alex. She's Eleven's sister and has a lot of powers." Mike said. "Hi." Dustin said. Alex kinda hid behind Mike. "he's our friend he won't hurt you." Mike said. "Hi." Alex said. Alex went with Mike, Eleven, Will and Dustin to Dustin's room. Dustin was showing them a lot of weird things he made at science camp. "I would like you to meet Cerebro." Dustin said as he opened a bag. "What actually are we looking at here?" Mike asked. "An unassembled one-of-a-kind battery-powered radio tower." Dustin said. "So it's a ham radio." Will said. "The Cadillac of ham radios. This baby carries a crystal-clear connection over vast distances. I'm talking North Pole to South. I can talk to my girlfriend whenever and wherever I choose." Dustin said. "Girlfriend?" Mike, Will and Eleven asked. Alex was confused. They walked out of the room and Alex followed. "Wait, so her name is Suzie?" Mike asked. "Suzie with a "z". She's from Utah." Dustin said. "Girls go to science camp?" Will asked. "Suzie does. She's a genius." Dustin said. "Is she cute?" Mike asked. "Think Phoebe Cates, only hotter." Dustin said. Alex heard Lucas and Max. "better?" Max asked. "Still stings." Lucas said. "Is that a new zit?" Lucas asked. "What is wrong with you?" Max asked. "I was just as-" Lucas said. Lucas screamed again and it hurt Alex's ears so she covered them. "Hey, you okay? Is it Lucas screaming again?" Mike asked. Alex nodded quickly. Mike put his hands on Alex's hands helping her cover her ears. They walked by Lucas and Max. "Lucas stop screaming you're hurting Alex." Mike said. They went out the door. "What's going on?" Max asked Will. "going to talk to Dustin's new girlfriend." Will said. "Girlfriend?" Lucas and Max asked. They got on their bikes only this time Eleven rode with Will and Alex rode with Mike. When they got there they had to climb a hill. Alex was talking to Max. Mike and Eleven left about half way up the hill. "It's been like this all summer." Will said. "It's annoying." Lucas said. "It's romantic." Max said. "It's bullshit, I just got home." Dustin said. Alex looked at Dustin and sighed. She started seeing what Will was saying. "Well, onward Suzie awaits." Dustin said. Once they got to the top they set up the radio tower. Dustin tried to talk to Suzie for hours. Will, Lucas and Max left. "Aren't you gonna leave too?" Dustin asked. "No." Alex said. "Really?" Dustin asked. Alex nodded. "Why not?" Dustin asked. "Well I'm staying with Steve and pretending to be his sister but I forgot where his house is. Also if Suzie does answer I don't wanna miss meeting her." Alex said. Dustin smiled. "I think she would really like you." Dustin said. Alexa smiled. All of a sudden the radio talked. "Suzie, are you there?" Dustin asked. They heard someone speaking russian. Alex kneeled down next to Dustin and listened. "I think we interrupted a secret russian communication." Dustin said. Alex and Dustin leaned closer to the radio and listened. "Come on, I'll take you to starcourt so you can see if Steve is still there and if he isn't you can stay in the guest room at my house for the night, okay?" Dustin said getting on his bike. Alex nodded and got on the bike. They arrived at starcourt and Alex saw Steve's car. "He's still here." Alex said. "Okay." Dustin said. Alex got off. "Hey, can you do me a favor and not tell him i'm back I wanna surprise him tomorrow." Dustin said. "Okay I'll just tell him Mike dropped me off." Alex said. "Well see you tomorrow and it was nice meeting you." Dustin said. "You too." Alex said. Dustin biked off and Alex went inside starcourt and walked to Scoops Ahoy. she saw Steve sitting in a chair. Steve looked up and saw Alex. He got up and hugged her. "I thought something happened to you." Steve said still hugging her. "Sorry, I forgot where the house and starcourt were so I had to ask Mike to bike me here. Also, I found out Eleven's my sister." Alex asked. Steve stopped hugging Alex. "Steve?" Alex asked. "Yes?" Steve asked. "You're like a big brother to me." Alex said. Steve smiled. "You're like a little sister so me." Steve said. Alex smiled. "Tell you what, I won't stop until my parent adopt you." Steve said. "Promise?" Alex asked. "Promise." Steve said. Alex smiled again and hugged Steve. They walked out of starcourt and got in the car. "Tomorrow i'll take you shopping okay?" Steve said. Alex smiled and nodded. On the way to Steve's house Alex fell asleep. Steve didn't wanna wake her up so he carried her inside, placed her in the bed, took off her shoes and covered her with a blanket. He set up other blankets on the floor and went to sleep.
