The three men (Youngsoo insisted he was a man) had become well acquainted and were now having a conversation about pets. They couldn't have pets according to the owner of the building, but the Jung's were dog people and Yoongi was a cat person. They were also fighting about which one they should get if it was a life or death situation. The obvious answer was to get a pet goat.

"Dad, I'm tired." Youngsoo says, rubbing at his eyes.

"Okay, go get ready for bed and I'll tuck you in in a minute."

The young boy runs off and Yoongi sighs.

"He's adorable."

"Yeah. It's a shame that he's already going to have a hard life. I really don't want kids to tease him for having just a dad. He can't help it." Hoseok says, drawing circles on the table.

"That's how life is."

The two are submerged in their thoughts, leaving the room silent. Youngsoo comes bouncing back in and informs Hoseok that he is ready for his big boy tuck in.

Hoseok chuckles and goes to put his son to sleep. When he comes back, he opens his mouth to say something but nothing comes out.

"What if I babysit him?"

"What?"

"I could babysit him when you have to work. I'm pretty much always at home since I have to be here. I'm not too far away, he seems to like me and it just might get that couple off your back."

"I couldn't ask you to do that. We just met today."

"Hoseok, I'd be honoured to do it. Let me tell you, I don't typically like kids, but I would let that kid run me over with all his toy cars all day long. I would take him out for ice cream whenever he wanted and not just to shut him up. I can't explain it, but I have an unreasonably soft spot for him." Yoongi says. But what he doesn't say is that he also has a soft spot for Hoseok. Call him crazy all you want, but Yoongi has always been the type to fall in love at first sight and he's almost afraid that it happened to him earlier this morning.

"Okay, well, how much do you want per hour?"

"Nothing."

"Then I refuse."

"Okay, how about you... I don't know. Come up with something, I'm not good at this and I refuse to take your money." Yoongi says, crossing his arms and pouting a little.

Needless to say, Hoseok's heart did a thing.

"What if I fed you dinner once a week?"

"I'm always up for food."

"Then we have a deal." Hoseok says, taking a few steps closer and sticking out his hand.

Yoongi shakes Hoseok's hand before they make their way to the door.

"Before I leave, I just have one question."

"Ask away."

"Who was that in your apartment earlier?"

"Oh, that's Jimin. He's my best friend and he's going on a date with someone else if you were worried about him." Hoseok says, not really taking in his words.

Yoongi's face reddens a little and he says with a slightly higher voice than normal, "Oh, psh, why would I be worried about him?"

"Goodnight, Yoongi." Hoseok says with a smirk.

"G-goodnight Hoseok." Yoongi says, walking away.

Once Yoongi was back in his apartment, he got ready for bed even though he knew he wasn't gonna sleep tonight. I mean, how could he with Jung Hoseok living in his building? Yoongi is glad that Hoseok had a five year old and not a ten month old. And yes, you'd be completely right in guessing that Yoongi is using Youngsoo as a way to get closer to Hoseok. What are you gonna do about it? Nothing because you and I both know that Youngsoo is effing adorable and anyone would do what Yoongi is doing. Boom, I just blew your mind because I read it. Just kidding.
