It was six o'clock on a Thursday afternoon when the knock came. Hoseok had just gotten home to find that Yoongi had 'broke into' Hoseok's place and was making a big feast of breakfast for dinner with Youngsoo being Yoongi's little helper. Yoongi had bought chef's hats and aprons while he was at the store (he claimed it was Youngsoo's idea, but we all know that it was really Yoongi's).
They were just starting on their breakfast-dinner when someone knocked on the door.
"Hello?" Hoseok asks, answering the door.
"Hi! My name is Jungkook and this is my husband, Taehyung. We don't mean to interrupt, but we brought you a pie and we have something we'd like to tell you."
"Yeah, we're really sorry about complaining about you guys being too loud. We were just back from our honeymoon and just wanted some quiet, compared to the, uh, actual honeymoon."
"Oh, no need to apologize. If anything, I should be thanking you. I'm Hoseok, by the way."
"Who is it, babe?" Yoongi ask, walking up behind Hoseok, holding Youngsoo.
"Hold on, when did this happen, Yoongi-hyung?" Taehyung asks, wide eyed.
"Um, actually when you complained for the third time. Building policy says I have to intervene and I just so happened to meet this lovely man and the rest is history."
"Hey, we're eating dinner. You wanna eat with us?" Hoseok asks, opening the door for the couple to enter.
"What are you having?" Taehyung asks, squinting his eyes.
"Taehyung, that's rude! We would love to have dinner with you." Jungkook says, entering the apartment and dragging a love-sick Taehyung behind him.
"Ooh, this looks delicious, Hoseok-hyung!"
"Actually, Yoongi-hyung made it. I got to come home to the view of him and Youngsoo cooking our dinner."
"Oh, wow. I wish someone would do that for me." Taehyung says, looking at Jungkook.
"You're a freaking chef. If I cooked a meal, it would never compare to yours."
"We've had this conversation before. I'd love anything you cooked because you cooked it. Anyways, Hoseok-hyung, is this your brother?" Taehyung asks, ruffling Youngsoo's hair.
"Actually, he's my son. Introduce yourself, Youngsoo." Hoseok says, cutting up a stack of pancakes for the boy.
"Hi! My name is Jung Youngsoo and I am five years old." Youngsoo says, showing how old he was on his hand.
"Oh, cool. Can we hear the story?" Jungkook asks, passing the syrup to Taehyung.
"Back in high school, I had a girlfriend and then she had Youngsoo and without notice, just up and left to the United States to chase a dream that never worked out."
"Oh, I'm sorry. But it looks like you're doing an amazing job on your own. And also, kudos to you because I'm sure it's hard to raise a kid with a coparent, let alone on your own." Jungkook says.
"Yeah. Um, we were actually thinking about adoption, but like, way down the line. Do you have any advice for us?"
"Communicate, make sure there is always someone to be with your kid, don't be too mean, but most importantly, have fun. Youngsoo is my best friend and we can always make each other laugh. Isn't that right, bub?"
The little boy just looks up with full cheeks and wide eyes, nodding.

A/N: We're not gonna talk about my failure to update two weeks in a row. Also, thank you to all the new readers. And on a sad note, we're almosr done with this book. I wanna drag it out a little more because this is honestly the shortest book I've ever written. But anyways, see you sometime on a Tuesday.
