"If the past five years have taught me anything, it's that a parent doesn't get to do what is best for their wants. What comes first is the child and what would be best for the child. You could have told me what you were going through. You act as if the only way to escape the tough parts of life is to run. I was right in front of you, ready to give you literally everything. I had already given you my virginity and a majority of my paychecks and my time and my love. I was ready to give you everything else and all you could think to do was run. What the hell, Yumi? For the longest time I questioned what I did wrong. I spent an endless number of nights staying up and running through every interaction we had, every time I mentioned you in a conversation to see where I went wrong and I came up empty handed. And then, I was set to go off to college and I couldn't do it. I couldn't leave my everything at my parent's house. So I stayed, worked for the rest of the summer, saved up some money and came here in hopes to find a once in a lifetime opportunity and it has taken me this long to find it. This is my once in a lifetime opportunity to show you what you did to me and to our son. Take a walk anywhere in this city and I guarantee you, you will see a family of three, out on the town for a nice relaxing day as a family. A goddamn family, Yumi. You ditched it all because you were scared and didn't have the guts to tell me? That's irrevocable, Yumi. And you showing up here now, expecting forgiveness is just a lame excuse to get a moral refund. So fuck you, I'm going home to my son and my boyfriend where we can be the family Youngsoo needs." Hoseok says, standing and beginning to walk away.

"I'm the one that called child protective services on you. I'm the one that wrecked your apartment to get him back because I knew this would happen. I just didn't expect you to be so heartless now."

"You said it yourself, I'm in touch with my emotions and I'm not going to let you toy with them anymore. And don't act like I didn't know it was you. Yoongi is the building manager and watches the security cameras in his free time. I just didn't turn you in because I wanted to be able to tell you in person that your petty ways don't affect me anymore." Hoseok says without even turning around. Before he is out of earshot, he calls Yoongi and answers with a sweet, sultry hello. Just to piss Yumi off.

"Youngsoo, come here!" Hoseok yells, trying to sound mad.

"Yes, Dad?" The boy asks meekly when he steps out of Yoongi's bathroom.

"Get ready to go, where going out to dinner." Hoseok says with a wide smile as he hugs his son.

"What for, Dad?"

"To celebrate. Your father made a big boy decision today and he would like to treat his special boy to dinner. You get to pick tonight, bub."

"Yay! Mexican food!"

The little boy runs off, singing about Mexican food and how great his dad is.

"I'm assuming everything went well." Yoongi says, back hugging Hoseok.

"As well as it could have gone. I told her exactly what I needed to say and she got to say a little bit, too. I don't think that is what she was expecting from me, but it's what she deserved and now I'm ready to put it all behind me." Hoseok says, laying his head back on Yoongi's shoulder.

A/N: I've recently realized how short these chapters are and I'm sorry. Also, there are only going to be a few more chapters, I think. I really don't know what else to do with this story. But until next week, guys.
