"So... how was your date?"

"It was not a date."

"Why do I feel like you wish that wasn't the case?" Jimin asks as he sets his head down on his closed fist. They were sitting down in Hoseok's living room trying to relax before Youngsoo woke up from his nap and would want dinner.

"I don't know. Why do you feel like that?"

"Oh don't be difficult with me. Do you like him?"

"Yeah, he's a pretty nice guy."

"No I meant do you like him like him."

"Why would I?"

"Because you can and because you need to start dating."

"No I don't, Jimin. If I need to be with someone, I will meet someone who really piques my interest and we will be attracted to each other."

"Okay, does Yoongi pique your interest?"

"He's interesting."

"Are you attracted to him?"

"He's rather attractive."

"And you don't think he could be the somebody you need?"

"Well of course he could be, but if I jump into a relationship now, it could mess up our fate and on top that, what would it do to Youngsoo? You have to remember, I'm a parent, and Youngsoo always comes first."

"Yeah, I know. Speaking of which, did Youngsoo like Yoongi?"

"They seemed to get along. Yoongi offered to babysit Youngsoo."

"Does he not work?"

"He's the building manager so he pretty much just has to stay here most of the time."

"That's who he is? Dude, get a ring on his finger now."

"Why?"

"I don't know, I just felt like saying that. Mostly because I think you two would work great together. He likes Youngsoo, man. That's obviously a keeper."

"Okay, but Jimin. What if we break up and he gets so upset that he kicks me out. Then I'd be homeless with a five year old. I am not about to do that to Youngsoo."

"You're so selfless. I'm not and it's a really good thing that it wasn't me. Not that it was good that it happened to you but out of the two of us, it was better for the kid that it happened to you."

"Yeah well, life happens the way it's supposed to." He says as he takes a sip of his coffee.

"So back to Yoongi."

"What about him?"

"Can you just let yourself relax enough around him to get to the point where you would consider a relationship? There is no harm in thinking about something, nor is there any harm in getting closer to your building manager."

"I guess you're right."

The two sit in silence for a few more minutes before Hoseok's phone rings.

"Hello?"

"Hey, this is Yoongi. I was just calling to see when you wanted to start the babysitting."

"I actually go back to work tomorrow but if that's too early for you, we can start next Monday."

"No, tomorrow is fine. What times do you work?"

"From nine to five. Is it okay if I'm there at like eight fifteen to tell you about his schedule and stuff?"

"Of course. See you tomorrow."

With that, the phone call ended and either boy went about their business slightly happier than before the conversation.
