Chloe's POV

It's 9pm and, I didn't even start my homework yet I've been texting Lexi for almost an hour now and Brandon told me to do it at 7pm yeah well I have Netflix and YouTube so who in the right mind would choose homework over the Vampire Diaries no one. Right when Damon was gonna target his next victim Brandon was a buzz kill and turned off the TV.

"Hey." I said sounding kinda sad.

"Is your homework done?" Brandon asked looking at me sternly.

I don't know about you but, I'm not lying to Brandon with Jackson being a room away. "Ok maybe not but, it can wait til this is over."

"Chloe Rose I told you at 7pm to do it. You've been home since 3pm that's four hours now it's almost time for bed and, it's still not done so do it now." Brandon said crossing his arms over his chest.

"It has five minutes left can you wait five minutes?" I asked hoping he would cut me some slack.

"Fine but, after this is over your going straight to doing your homework your not starting another episode." Brandon said making sure I understood what he was saying.

I continued watching my show but, when the five minutes was up. I noticed Jackson left during the middle of the last episode to go to bed while Brandon went upstairs to shower. Normally he takes twenty minutes so that'll get me through half another episode so that way I can just watch the other half after school tomorrow. As I was twenty six minutes in my show Brandon comes downstairs and, sees me not doing my homework.

He took the TV remote, turned off the TV and, said "That wasn't the deal."

I got up to get my book bag away from the front door and, brought it over to where I was sitting while Brandon sat in the kitchen monitoring me because, he thinks I'll watch it off my laptop which he isn't wrong if he wasn't hovering over me monitoring me I would.

Before I started my homework I asked Brandon a very important question "After I'm done can I continue my show?"

Brandon scrolls through his phone and, said "No your not easy to deal with in the morning your crabby and that's with eight hours of sleep you with less is gonna be worse and, that's something I'm not dealing with or anyone else so your gonna do your homework that I told you to do at 7pm now at 9pm then go to bed because it's almost 10pm."

I groaned and, said "That's not fair I go to prison for over half my day and, then come home to even more prison that's illegal because, if you don't do it the teacher freaks out it's not like I have a choice so technically I'm being forced to go and, do something without freewill isn't that in the Bible or something?"

Brandon started to get annoyed as he said, "Chloe just stop talking and do it the sooner you start the sooner you finish the later you start the later you finish so no more talking and, start it."

I finished my homework at 11:30pm and, showed Brandon it was done. After I showed him and put away all my stuff he sent me off to bed and, said "From now on it's homework then TV privileges because, you clearly can't handle it the other way around."

"No, I can handle it." I whined hoping he would change his mind.

"No you can't you just showed me you couldn't end of discussion go to bed now." Brandon said pointing to my room upstairs.

I laid on my bed but, decided to watch Netflix off my phone with earbuds in. Once I looked at the clock I saw 4am and, thought shit I'm only getting two or three hours of sleep because, school starts at 8:40am so we leave at 8:15am. Well looks like it's goodbye Chloe because, if Brandon finds out I disobeyed him he's gonna freak out.

I quickly turned off my phone setting it on my nightstand while I fell asleep.

"CHLOE WAKE UP!" I heard someone shout in my ear.

I opened my eyes and, saw Brandon he quickly threw clothes at me and said "Here hurry up you leave in twenty minutes everyone is up but, you."

I quickly did my makeup and, the rest of my morning routine doing my hair half up half down because, it was quick and, easy I grabbed my phone along with my ear buds and, headed downstairs seeing Josh waiting impatiently as Greyson was watching TV. Once Josh saw me he walked out the door with me following behind as Brandon said "Bye behave."

I ran into Josh's car and, watched Netflix on my laptop as he drove us to school. I quickly turned in the paper with Brandon's signature and, glanced down at my Thursday schedule my whole day was going great until the last class of the day came around Math.

I was in math class sitting by Ashton when I started to get really bored and, fell asleep. The teacher woke me up and, said "Ms. Miller there's no sleeping in my class so wake up, stand up, or go to the office those are you choices."

"But, I'm tired." I said laying my head back down on the table.

After I fell asleep the second time she filled out a yellow slip to the office and, said "Your not gonna be interrupting my class take your things along with this and, go to the office."

I packed up my book bag knowing since it was the last class of the day I was gonna spend the rest of the period in the office. Once I got there I handed the same lady a yellow slip and, she opened her office door and, said wait here until the principal gets here.
