Chapter 67

Chloe's POV

As I was doing my math homework Greyson walked through the front door with the ticket and, said "I love the car you actually left this in there."

He hands me the ticket and Brandon took it from me pointing to my math homework and, said "Finish that while I'm reading this over I wanna see for myself."

Greyson tried to hand me the keys to my car back to me but I just pushed his hand away and, said "You can keep it I'm staying off the road for a while I don't think I'm gonna get a car to replace it with though because the road is gonna be safer without me on it. I suck at driving so I'm trying to stay off the road as much as possible."

Right after I said that Ashton walks inside and, says "Hello Miller family."

Lexi looked at him and, said "Talk some sense into your girlfriend over here she thinks she sucks at driving all because Jackson nailed her speeding down his neighborhood. She literally started crying and made me drive the car back and now she wants to get rid of her car and walk for the rest of her life tell her she's nuts I think she's nuts."

Ashton stood me up and brought me over to the living room for us to talk I slowly followed behind him and started crying he hugged me and, said "Chloe calm down you weren't intentionally trying to get anyone mad and I know that because your crying about it. It was an accident but Lexi is right your nuts you need a car to get places here go drive mine around the block it's more laid back than yours so you shouldn't have an Issues with it you drove it many times before."

I shook my head no and, said "I don't wanna drive at all I don't trust myself anymore I feel like something is gonna happen."

He looked down at me and, said "You drove my car going three hours if I didn't trust you going around the block with it I wouldn't have let you take it three hours. Chloe you know what your doing just focus on the road and traffic I'll come with you but believe me it's easier to slip up on your car due to how fast it goes just please take mine and try it just so I know if your thinking straight because your driving tells it all."

I took his keys as he followed me outside and, started up the car letting him get in I backed out of the driveway turning right and continued going straight until I let him guide me and, saw the highway I went to turn around but then he said "You got this go I'm right here helping you it'll be a walk in the park just focus on nothing but the road ignore the trees and grass just the road."

I started going on the highway when all of a sudden I hear this noise and, Ashton says "Come towards the center more your too close to the ramp."

I move away from the ramp trying to center myself more getting off the highway when all of a sudden I see this little boy walking across the street he looked exactly like Cameron but he passed away I was curious so I watched him cross the road but see this car flying by I quickly cut the car off and slow down just so the little kid could get across the street Okay he gave me a thumbs up showing me he was okay and continued.

Ashton looked at me and, said "I don't know if I should say this or not but that looked like Cameron from pictures I've seen."

I looked back in the mirror but the little boy was gone I looked at Ashton and, said "I was thinking the same thing that's weird you wanna know what that was a kid who looked like him he would be 26 by now so that definitely wasn't him."

Once I pulled back into my driveway we got out laughing at how creepy that was when all of a sudden Lucas looked at us and, asked "What's so funny?"

As I tossed him his keys I continued laughing as he dropped them once I calmed down I said "The weirdest shit just happened I was driving when all of a sudden this kid who looks exactly like Cameron crossed the street and a car came speeding by so I cut the car off and slowed down so the kid could get by he's okay I saved him basically but it was fucking creepy on how similar the situation was the same da6 I was freaking out about driving when he loves cars."

Cole walked out of the kitchen and, started laughing saying "That's him in his own weird way of saying don't stop driving over a speeding ticket."

He scared the crap out of I didn't expect him to be here I looked at him and, asked "When did you get here and where's Amber?"

He looked at me and, said "I got here an hour ago and I have an announcement."

Everyone including Jackson gathered around him as he said "I'm getting married three weeks from now that Saturday."

I hugged him and, said "Finally I'll have a sister-In-Law I won't be the only girl here thank gosh you guys are so annoying apart from Ashton he's awesome."

"I need three of you to do a speech at the wedding so figure it out oh and mom is gonna be there."Cole said looking at me as I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not doing it you have five of those people." I said backing away I seriously don't wanna give no wedding speech are you kidding me.

He put all our names on pieces of paper and threw them inside a hat and, pulled out three names and, said "Lucas, Chloe, and Brandon have fun."

I looked at Ashton and, started laughing just the thought of it was hilarious this wasn't going to end well. Cole saw me laughing and said "That's not happening when your doing the speech go calm down."
