Chapter 46

Chloe's POV

As I was working on my lines I heard Rylie talking to Greyson about this movie she watched in the living room with Brandon while we were in school as she went on and, off sounding really happy Greyson just said "That's nice." As he had one earbud in. Once I was finally done writing that which hurt my hand I was about to shout I'm done until Jackson looked back at me raising his eyebrow.

I frowned as I handed him the papers saying I'm done. He nodded his head and, said "Thank you I'll talk to you later about something I want to address to you but I don't wanna talk about it with everyone in the car right now so we'll talk in private."

The minute he said that I automatically thought I was in trouble so I started stuttering and, said "J-Jackson I-I'm sorry please don't I didn't mean to."

Brandon quickly looked up in the review mirror and, said "Hey Chloe your not in trouble he just wants to talk to you. You didn't do anything wrong I know what he's gonna talk to you about it's nothing bad he just wants to be sure of something."

I nodded my head and, sat back in my seat as Rylie kept talking to Greyson bugging him. Until he's finally had enough and, said "Rylie stop talking to me, talk to Chloe instead she's bored and needs some company I'm actually busy right now texting Aubrey."

Rylie started bugging me wanting my attention while I was drawing and, said "Cousin Chloe focus on me your always drawing besides I wanna know more about Uncle Josh."

I threw my notebook down and, said "Rylie stop I'm not talking about him there's nothing to it you were only one when he died and now he's not here anymore so would you just freaking drop it I'm getting so annoyed with you pestering me all the time about him let it go."

The car went dead silent after that and Rylie stopped bring him up Brandon pulled over to get gas as he tossed Jackson the keys as they switched spots so Brandon was now in passenger while Jackson was driving. That was going to be interesting because Jackson in a car with the twins, Rylie and, I is never a good mix for anybody.

Josh found a pillow in the back or something I guess so we started laying down while watching Netflix. While I on the other hand was getting really freaking bored because everyone had their phones and were on them as I had to sit by Rylie without my phone being bored so I stared out the window looking at all the gas station scenery as Rylie started to fall asleep. When Jackson started up the car as Brandon got in I reached back for someone's phone for the third time but, instead someone slapped my arm so freaking hard.

I shouted "OWWWW!" As Cole started laughing causing Brandon to quickly turn around and see tears coming from my eyes. Cole stopped laughing once he saw Brandon's face and, said "Sorry Chloe I didn't mean to slap you that hard and I'm sorry I slapped you at all you kept trying to take my phone and I'm texting Amber."

I nodded my head accepting his apology until he didn't hear me respond back as Brandon turned back around saying "Cole don't slap anyone your old enough to know not to and Chloe stop reaching back you can draw you don't need anyone's phone yours got taken away for a reason anyway."

Cole waited for me to respond back to him and, said "I told you I was sorry you don't have to ignore me about it geez that's just rude."

I blinked my tears away as I sniffled and, said "I'm not ignoring you I heard you the first time it's fine I forgive you just leave me alone because clearly I'm mad at you now."

Lucas must've heard me sniffling or something because he got involved and, said "Chlo look at me." I ignored him because he doesn't need me to look at him every time I'm crying or upset so I just closed my eyes and fell back asleep.

That lasted ten minutes before Greyson started shouting to Josh in the way back "JOSH I NEED THE POWER BANK MY PHONE IS ON 5%."

"NO I'M USING IT AND ITS FOR A VERY IMPORTANT REASON ON WHY I NEED IT RIGHT NOW I'LL GIVE IT TO YOU WHEN I'M DONE IF IT DOESN'T DIE." Josh shouted back at Greyson as he rolled his eyes annoyed.

"JOSHUA GIVE ME THE POWER BANK MY LIFE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR STUPID TEXTING CONVERSATION WITH LAYLA HELP YOUR TWIN OUT." Greyson said trying to pull the twin card on Josh to make him feel guilty enough to hand it over.

I started to get annoyed and, shouted "FOR THE LOVE OF GOSH GREYSON STOP JOSH HAD IT FIRST AND, HE'S MY FAVORITE TWIN SO I'M ON HIS SIDE AND ALSO BECAUSE I COULDN'T CARE LESS IF YOUR PHONE DIES ON AUBREY."

Everyone started laughing as Lucas said "Way to be biased Chloe just don't say that out in public that was blunt but hilarious though."

Rylie looked at me and, asked "Cousin Chloe your not going to do it here are you?"

I turned to her and, whispered in her ear "No Rylie I promise you I would stop that because it upset you so much not to mention there was a bad experience one time."

She smiled at me as she held out her pinkie asking "You pinkie promise to not do it anymore like never ever again?"

I shook my head yes as I wrapped my pinkie around her's saying "Yes Rylie I promise to never ever do it again."
