Chapter 45

Chloe's POV

The time was literally going on 5am and, I'm still sitting on the couch not even being able to fall asleep while everyone else was peacefully sleeping under there nice and, cozy sheets on their beds. I looked around the living room seeing what I could work on to pass time and, found a puzzle under the TV stand so I started connecting that together even though half the pieces where missing I completed what I could out of it seeing it was a sunset on the beach.

After I finished the puzzle around 7am spending half my time looking for the missing pieces. I heard someone's alarm clock go off and, the saw Brandon walk downstairs with all the duffle bags already having the tents in the his car. He saw me sitting on the couch and, said "Please tell me you actually went to bed and didn't stay up all night."

I looked at him and, said "Okay I won't tell you then." He sighed as he sat next to me on couch and, looked down at the puzzle I put together that had empty holes on where the missing pieces would go. As I watched Brandon examine the puzzle I solved he looked up at me as if he was trying to figure something out but, took an awfully long time thinking because, the next word he said wasn't until another five minutes or so later.

He looked back up at me taking all his attention away from the puzzle and, said "You know you really shouldn't be doing that you can get sick not to mention pulling all nighters are really unhealthy because your body is still trying to grow and can't if your not getting enough sleep allowing it to grow healthily. I guess you could sleep in the car but the roads get kinda bumpy."

I nodded my head and, said "I couldn't fall asleep I had to wash Greyson's bedding so he slept in my room with Rylie and this living is haunted or something because, It couldn't go more than five minutes without having the wind whistling around the room."

Brandon laughed as he started packing everything up in the car right before he went out into the garage he said "Try to fall asleep now and if your sleeping while we're leaving I'll have someone carry you out to the car but, I want you to at least try and get some sleep I seriously don't like the Idea of you staying up all night I'll let you off this time but from now on it's 9:30pm in bed sleeping no later."

Right after he said that and, started walking into the garage loading up the car I smacked my head against the couch throw pillow and, let the darkness consume over my body as I felt so relaxed.

Cole's POV

I woke up to my alarm but, when I walked downstairs I was rather confused on the sight because, I saw Chloe sleeping on the couch knocked out cold like she Isn't going to wake up any time soon and, then I saw Brandon talking to Jackson about who knows what I walked into the living room and, asked "What are we doing car wise?"

Jackson looked up at me and, said "Were just gonna take the big van because, it's easier since it fits everyone the only Issue is Greyson and Chloe are still sleeping and, Brandon doesn't want us waking up Chloe because apparently she didn't sleep all night and was up til seven this morning. Greyson took over her bed so she had to sleep on the couch which didn't end well."

I nodded my head and, said "This drive is a eight almost nine hours so keep in mind Greyson and Chloe don't get along I say since the van has three rows front, middle, and away back I say Chloe and Greyson go in the front only because we can watch them easier and, if you put Rylie in between those two because she has a car seat."

Brandon agreed to my plan as everyone got inside the car while Lucas carried Chloe out buckling her up while Jackson buckled Rylie up in her car seat. Greyson tried to make a run for it to the back but, Brandon stopped him and said "Your right here by Rylie."

He rolled his eyes sitting down by Rylie as I got in the middle row two seats by Lucas leaving Josh all alone in the back. I messed around with Lucas mainly since Josh was texting Layla practically the whole time. About five hours into the car ride Chloe wakes up as Rylie started laughing making Greyson mad.

I started texting Amber since Lucas left me for Chloe. Everything was going fine until Greyson started stretching his legs in Chloe's space causing her to freak out and, shout "GREYSON GET YOUR FEET AWAY FROM ME THOSE THINGS ARE WEAPONS PEOPLE ARE GONNA PASS OUT."

Right as Brandon made a turn going right Jackson turned to Greyson and Chloe saying "Both of you knock it off right now Greyson mind your own space and Chloe your done shouting if you shout one more time your gonna be doing quiet time and, since you don't know what that is I suggest you keep it that way."

"Oh yeah I forgot whenever I get in trouble and, someone else is involved I'm the only one who gets punished for it or called out on it this is so stupid I didn't even wanna come on this trip, I wanted to stay home with Rylie alone." Chloe said causing Jackson to dig through his duffel bag and pull out a Bible, pen, and notebook.

He handed Chloe the supplies and, said "Go to 1 Peter 3:1-22 and copy that fifty times then talk to me about what you were saying."

She snatched the Bible from him and, started copying down the versus I always hated quiet time Brandon always made us to do this when he needed to punish us for something but, didn't quite know what to do so this was his solution not to mention Lucas spent most of his days with quiet time due to him having to much energy as a kid. Chloe is a different story she's not a bad kid but, she's loud and has a hard time staying quiet.
