"Lila! Lila wake up," a voice said, but it sounded muffled and distant.

"No," I said. At least I think I did. I couldn't really hear myself.

"Lila come on," a dull ringing started back again in my ears and my eyes watered behind their closed lids.

"Maybe she can't hear you," a new voice said. "She might still be passed out."

"She's not! Her lips moved, I swear I saw it," the same other voice replied somewhat briskly.

I felt something cold against my forehead and it felt wonderful but at the same time horrible. I wanted to curl up in a warm bed and sleep for weeks but these people wouldn't let me sleep. I felt heavy and clammy and wrong.

"Come on Lila. You need to wake up and eat something. Your pack will probably kill both of us if they saw you like this," the voice said, laughing nervously a bit.

Pack...

"Okay they probably wouldn't kill you but I'd definitely get staked," the voice continued and I realized it was male and very familiar.

My eyelids fluttered open for a moment before slipping shut again. I was so tired.

"Oh thank God," he breathed. I inhaled; he smelled good. And like his voice it was familiar. I breathed him in again, trying to figure out who it was. I felt a hand touch my cheek and like a lightning bolt it hit me.

I jerked upright, eyes flying open. Pain hit my head and my groaned, clutching it tightly in my hands. I felt like I was going to vomit.

A hand rubbed my back, "You okay?"

I turned my head just the slightest to the left and saw Wyatt's face, still beautiful and glowing and completely worried. I ignored him and struggled to stand up.

"Hey, what are you doing? Where are you going?" he frowned at me, jumping up when my legs buckled to catch me.

I gave him a shove off of me, and though it was weak, we both stumbled away from each other, unbalanced.

"You," I pointed a shaking finger at him, glaring, "took too much blood."

"Lila I'm sorry I didn't know I wasn't think-"

"Oh bullshit. And what the hell is w-wrong with you? Are you s-stupid, ignorant or just enjoy near death ex-experiences?" I snapped, advancing unsteadily at him. My knees kept threatening to give out and I felt like a newborn deer, wobbling unsteadily with every step.

"Lila you should really sit down," Blake said, touching my arm, "You can discuss this later."

I shook him off. Again, it wasn't very strong or rough, but Blake retreated. "No. I don't need to sit down. We're discussing this now." I turned back to Wyatt, "Seriously Wyatt, which is it? Because to me you seem to be a little bit of all three. Is it r-really so hard for you to take care of yourself?" I hated how my exhaustion made me slur and stutter. It was hard to sound convincingly angry when you could barely get your words out.

His jaw tightened. "No. It's just the fact that I didn't know what was going to happen. Do you think I know everything about vampires? Seriously? You're just as bad as me; you don't know even half the stuff about werewolves."

"Yeah but at least I'm not risking killing people because I didn't go feed! Or going out in the sunlight when we knew there's the chance of d-dying," I stomped as much as I possibly could until I got to him and jabbed him in the chest with my finger. "Seriously what would you do if I wasn't around? You'd be so screwed. I've bailed you out how many times already?"
