That's What You Missed on GLEE!: A Quick W&V Trilogy Recap

Hey babes, so for those of you who are trying to keep up with me actually writing new material, but dont remember anything from the original stories because its been a thousand years since I wrote with any kind of consistency, THIS IS THE CHAPTER FOR YOU! We're going to recap and we're going to recap HARD. Aka here are the highlights of main plot points as they pertain to current plots in the final story of the series, Shadow of the Day.

Werewolves and Vampires: 

Lila and her adopted/step sister, Ivy, and Lila's dad move to a new town where there is a serial killer on the loose murdering teenagers. She meets a group of werewolves and vampires (there was zero proof of this btw and I find it hilarious that I never ever tried to explain how they knew what they were?? Wyatt was the only one with proof because he had books from the previous pack/coven so I guess I could be like 'oh wyatt told them' but its not like anyone would believe him because thats such a wild accusation ANYWAY I WAS LIKE YOUNG WHEN I WROTE THIS SO PLOT HOLES ABOUND!) who obviously hate each other, except for the leader of the vamps, Wyatt, who seems very interested in her--despite the fact that she is the leader of the werewolf Pack--and so does the killer. He begins stalking her and threatening her at every turn, until he finally kidnaps her when she runs from Wyatt, after they have an argument that nearly ends with her killing him by accident. The serial killer actually turns out to be a demon, a creature who can possess humans and gets their joy from hunting their prey and drinking from them. This demon, Caleb, tortures her for days, waiting for her soul mate (Wyatt) to arrive to exact his plan. Wyatt and her pack find and save her from him, and Wyatt and Lila finally get past their differences to be together.

Wolf Moon:

Things seem calmer now that Caleb is gone, until Wyatt begins to fall ill. Which isn't normal for vamps because they can't get sick, so something is seriously wrong and neither of them can figure out what it is; until Wyatt's eyes go black and he chokes her, then they realize Caleb has possessed Wyatt. It's a race to figure out how to save him before Caleb completely takes him over, and Lila enlists the help of Natasha, Caleb's former demonic partner, her Pack (Matt, Mirah, Jared, and Dakota), and also Blake, who is part of Wyatt's coven and becomes fast friends with Lila as they rehearse for the upcoming Valentines Day dance performance. Caleb causes trouble for all of them as he takes Wyatt over more and more each day, the closer it gets to the third full moon, the night the possession will be completed. Lila has to come to terms with the possibility she might very well lose her soul mate to Caleb and that there was nothing she could do about it. Everything comes to a head on Valentines Day, when she is supposed to perform with Blake at the school dance. As Caleb gloats and tears her down for being useless and for losing her soul mate and not fighting for him, she grows so angry she turns full werewolf and tears right through his chest, his heart, with her claws, killing him instantly. Wyatt, underneath Calebs possession, Changes into a full vampire as well and survives the attack, while Caleb disappears. 

Shadow of the Day: 

This gets a part recap because we're like halfway through the story lol so its got a bit of ground to cover

Vamps and werewolves rejoice! Ding, dong, the wicked demon is dead! But now Lila and Wyatt have to figure out how to live with their Changes, from Lila struggling to transform from wolf to human and back again, to Wyatt's diet and delicate complexion in the sun. But otherwise, things still seem rather peachy now that the main big baddie is dead and gone! They take a lovely trip to Florida, discovering that maybe some of these changes aren't as easy to life with as they originally thought, when Wyatt almost dies when exposed to too much sun and Lila has to give him blood. Roxanne, Wyatt's cold and attitude filled fellow vamp, decides Lila isn't as bad as she originally thought after that, so yay brownie points. Lila gets attacked by a dog and realizes she also needs to be more careful when out and about. The problems between the vamps and werewolves seem to be better, as they are more civil towards each other; unless you count Jared. Jared really isn't happy with the vamps, especially not Wyatt. Ivy becomes increasingly frustrated with all of Lila's lies and secrets, and befriends Dom, who just so happens to be besties with a demon by the name of Devin, who also happens to be Caleb's brother. Not only that, but Devin leads Ivy's estranged biological father right to her.
