"Ivy! No!" I said firmly as if I were scolding a dog, "Nuh-uh!"

"Uh-huh!" she argued back, dragging me into that dreaded area of the store.

"This is embarrassing!" I hissed at her.

"Oh my God, you're such a drama queen," she rolled her blue eyes at me as she let go of my wrist and started scanning the racks of the store. Today was our girl day, and we were already shopping. To which I most definitely regret agreeing too.

"Am not!" I protested, "Why do we need lingerie?"

She had dragged me into the lingerie part of a store. And it was horribly embarrassing.

"Well, I don't. You, on the other hand, do. I mean, you and mystery boy are getting it on and you need to be prepared for the big event," she said matter-of-factly, picking out a particularly horrid green...outfit. If that could even describe the lack of fabric on this thing.

"Hell no, you put that back right now," I said, hand on one hip, other hand with my finger pointing to where she got it from.

"Oh come on, you're telling me lingerie isn't what you need? All guys love seeing girls in stuff like this," she made a face at me but nonetheless put it back where she found it and kept browsing.

"Yes well he's seen me in bra and underwear before and that has changed nothing considering they weren't even 'sexy'," I glared, tapping my foot impatiently against the ground.

"So? Wouldn't it be a nice surprise? If his birthday is coming up I'm sure he'd like to unwrap you," she said casually, moving down the rack easily.

I blushed beet red.

"Well last I checked people didn't care much for the wrapping of the gift; the inside of the wrapping was far more important," I said, twisting my hair off my neck. Damn I needed to get it cut; it was still at my waist and it was soon going to pass it. Thank God we were going for that today.

"Ah, now you're getting into the spirit!" Ivy said, sounding almost proud as she picked out something else.

I shook my head.

"Okay how about this," she said, hand on her slim hip as she fixed me with exasperated blue eyes, "You try it on for fun. We try on dresses and stuff for fun all the time; what's the big deal with this? You don't even have to buy it. Just for a laugh."

I scrunched my face up, thinking for a moment. I sighed and took it out of her hand. She grinned victoriously.

"Oh don't look so happy; if I'm going to try it on you need something too," I said, looking through the rack until I found something and handed it to her.

"Alright, fair is fair," she stuck her tongue out at me before her eyes got a mischievous spark in them, "Why don't we try on some really nasty ones? It'll be funny."

"I don't know how you manage to talk me into all the stuff you do," I shook my head. We began scanning the racks for the most horrendous outfits we could possibly find. We took our horrific finds to the changing rooms of the stores. Fortunately there was no one in there so we could step out and show each other the ridiculous lingerie we had decided to try on.

Ivy ran out of outfits faster than I did so she went to go bring them back while I tried on my last few ones. I heard her voice so I stepped out to show her one piece that wasn't too bad but definitely not something I'd want to ever be caught wearing by Wyatt.

But Ivy was nowhere to be seen. Instead there was a guy leaning against the wall next to the stall opposite mine, looking bored out of his mind. Ivy was down the hall, chatting with the lady who worked in the fitting rooms.
