Do Better

     I woke up in Chris's arms and he was still sound asleep. His heart beat beated at a simple but steady pace and I almost fell back asleep until Ava's cries filled my ears.

"My baby...." I chuckled to myself but Chris pulled me back down to bed and kissed my neck.

"I got it." I looked up at him confused.

"Kay Thanks Babe." He nodded and walked to the room. I was surprised that Chris decided to get her. Normally he'd be basically begging me to put her down. Its usually I take care of her in the night and him during the day. I smiled at the thought of finally catching some sleep.

    Chris came back with a wide awake Ava lying on his chest. Her tears slowly went away as Chris laid down on the bed. She looked straight at Chris into his eyes and just stared. Chris smiled happily and kissed her tiny lips and for some unknown reason I just smiled. An honest genuine smile. Seeing Chris and Ava just brought one of the biggest smiles to my face.

They were having the most adorable Daddy Daughter moment. Soon there was a knock on the door. I slowly lifted myself up and walked to the door. I opened it slowly to reveal my baby boy Cam. He looked up at me with tears in his eyes and the most saddest face ever.

"Cameron...?" I immediately kneeled down and embraced my son. He wrapped his body around mine and held me tightly while squeezing his eyes shut.

"What's wrong?" I ran my fingers through His hair and he silently cried on my shoulder.

"I want Daddy." My eyes went wide. He wants August and I haven't seen him since yesterday.

I heard the bed creek and I knew Chris was probably pissed off.

"Come here Cam." He held his arms out hoping Cam would take Him as his second father.

Cam looked up at me and ran to Chris quickly. The words that left his mouth immediately put me in shock.

"Daddy I'm scared."

My eyes went wide and so did Chris's. Cameron just called Chris Daddy. Did he not believe August was his father anymore? Chris and I stared at each other silently. He got up and just laid back in bed with both children.

The fact that Cam called him Daddy still made me feel a way. I sighed and rubbed my face. I know this is going to cause a new problem.
