Hades Daughter

Chapter Two: Melione

   I caught up with Haden and looked at him, puzzled. He just laughed. We turned the corner and we went into the fields of punishment. We walked around (I flew close to the ground) until we found David.
   His punishment was to slide down razor all day then at night, he got to soak in a bathtub of lemon juice. To trick him, we put water died yellow in the tub. When he got in, he didn't heal. He cussed us but that didn't mind us. That was a month ago. Now, his cuts were so bad, we didn't recognize him. We filled the tub with lemon juice and he screamed as he went in. I laughed so hard. When he saw me and made a gesture that you didn't need to understand sign language to know what he meant. We left in tears of joy.
   It was so funny. After we pranked some more ghouls, we heard dad calling us. Dinner was ready. FINALLY!!! I was STARVING!!!
   I flew over to the mansion to join mum and dad at the dinner table. I walked into the dining room to find other gods and goddesses in there. They got my note! I invited them down here for the monthly feast since we have to travel very far. Besides, our table had enough spots to fit the other Olympians. There was Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo, Hermes, Dionysus, Ares, Hephaestus, Hera, Demeter, Aphrodite, Artemis, Athena and Hestia.
   I overheard Zeus and Hera talking about something. A book? Why would they be talking about a book?
   We sat down and started. At first it was awkward silence then Apollo speaks
   "So, Haden, have you made up your mind?" What is he talking about?
   "Haden, what's he talking about? I don't like it when you keep secrets." I ask. I hate it when people keep secrets.
   "Apollo has asked me whether we should start a band together. I, I was thinking about whether I wanted to or not. You only asked me yesterday Apollo." He replied. That's why he was so tanned. He's been up in the over world with Apollo. Probably trying to get girlfriends. Like that's ever gonna happen.
   "I know, but it would be so much fun." He insisted "You could play guitar and I could play the lyre and-"
   "Apollo." Zeus interrupted. I only just realised that he had been staring at me weirdly. How long had he been doing that? "Let the boy have some more time to think."
   "Ok" Apollo mumbled. He sank back into his chair the saw that Zeus was looking at him and straightened up.
   "So, Persephone, did you enjoy your time in the over world?" Hera asked. . She's obviously trying to annoy Demeter that she can't be in the over world anymore. She knows how much Demeter and Persephone. Everyone does. She almost caused world war one when Hades kidnapped her.
   "I enjoyed it a lot. I got to go back to small Greek city that I'm the patron goddess of. It's next to my favourite meadows. They made a statute of Me, Haden, Melonie and Hades. I painted them and they look just like us. You guys should see them." She replied.
   "Isn't that personia? They have statues of you guys there from ancient times." Athena said. She obviously knew what city mum had meant since she was so smart.
   "You mean from two thousand years ago. I was only born two thousand years ago." I said. Athena rolled her eyes. She and I, we don't get along.
   "Yes I mean two thousand years ago." She said with a rude tone.
As dinner went on, I overheard a conversation between Poseidon and Athena. It was about two of their children. Athena's daughter and Poseidon's son. I wanted to know more, but I decided not to interrupt. I tried to listen in more, but dinner had finished. Who were they talking about?
After dinner the other gods and goddesses thanked us for the meal and left. I had a nice hot bath then went to bed.
